Multi-talent
Bailee Madison is taking on a new role, as she pursues a lifelong dream signing her first
music management deal with Founder and Talent Manager
Kevin Jonas, Sr. of
Jonas Group Entertainment, announced exclusively by
Variety today (5/5).
“So much of my life has already been shared with the public, and I’ve always tried to be as honest and true to myself as possible. I’m finally ready to take this leap – music is a very personal and vulnerable side of me, and this new partnership with Kevin Jonas, Sr. is an extension of that,” Madison admitted to
Variety. “Now sharing this part of myself with the world means so much, and it feels like a chance to give insight on my heart. Everything that I do is a circle of love, and that comes with my art as well.”
From her first commercial spot at two weeks old to her major motion picture debut at six, the 21-year-old actress has become a household name with dozens of diverse TV and film roles to her credit. Best known for
Just Go With It and
The Strangers: Prey at Night, Madison starred in and co-produced Netflix’s newly-released faith-based musical,
A Week Away, where she gave audiences a first taste of her singing ability. Breakout song, “Awesome God / God Only Knows (Campfire Medley),” and the
A Week Away (Music From The Netflix Film) soundtrack are both charting. Filmed and recorded in Nashville, TN, the spirit of Music City has further fueled her creative inspiration. She recently made headlines as the lead in the sixth installment of the iconic
A Cinderella Story franchise,
A Cinderella Story: Starstruck, which will showcase a musical element as well.
“Jonas Group Entertainment takes great pleasure in welcoming Bailee Madison onto our roster of talented artists. It is a privilege to have known Bailee since the origins of her career in entertainment,” Jonas, Sr. further shared with
Variety. “From an early age, her creative capacities were evident. She possesses an unteachable poise. Bailee sets a moral principle and professionalism that is second to none. I can’t wait to share her tremendous music talent with the world. As a young female, she stands among an incomparable category of entertainers who have an ability to succeed across multiple artistic landscapes. My team and I are honored to be a part of her musical journey.”
Madison added, “I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. From trick-or-treating with Kevin’s son Frankie as a kid, to this thrilling opportunity, it feels like what was meant to be has fallen into place. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the way that Kevin has navigated the music industry, and am so excited to be a part of the Jonas Group Entertainment family.”
An advocate off-screen, Madison is an Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation's Youth Spokesperson and a supporter of Michelle Obama's Better Make Room campaign. She is represented by Management 360 – Beau Swayze and Clifford Murray – and The Gersh Agency – Allison Band, Mark Herzberg, and Matt Vioral – for her acting endeavors.
