PLATINUM-selling Big Loud Records star Morgan Wallen wrapped up 2019 burning supernova hot, continuing to accelerate his meteoric rise toward the Country-music stratosphere.

Riding a rocket of commercial, critical and live-performance success, Wallen’s last 12 months have been record year on multiple fronts – and a signal of what’s to come in 2020.

In December, Wallen finished his acclaimed role on Luke Combs’ massive BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART TOUR, which closed with a SOLD OUT two-night stand at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and found fans arriving early to see Wallen’s electrifying direct-support set all over the country. 
 
Meanwhile, the proven hitmaker tapped into another gear on the charts, landing his multi-week #1 “Whiskey Glasses” at the top of both Billboard’s year end Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts. Billboard also placed Wallen at seventh overall on the 2019 Top Artists list, and fifth in the male category.

On top of earning multiple new certifications from the RIAA – GOLD distinctions for “The Way I Talk,” on-fire Diplo collaboration “Heartless,” and debut album IF I KNOW ME, plus PLATINUM hardware for “Up Down” (featuring Florida Georgia Line) and “Whiskey Glasses” – Wallen was also featured on a variety of high-profile “Best Of” lists. 

Rolling Stone Country named “Whiskey Glasses” #8 on its rundown of the 25 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Year – calling it “one of those songs that could have been a country hit in virtually any era” – while Sounds Like Nashville listed the track as one of its 20 Best Singles of 2019.

Likewise, PEOPLE has placed the emerging superstar on its coveted Ones to Watch list, and he earned major national attention from The Associated Press, The Washington Post, Genius and more. Wallen also scored network TV performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Good Morning America and TODAY in 2019 – not to mention a CMA Awards nomination for New Artist of the Year and a Breakthrough Video of the Year nod at the CMT Music Awards.
