Photo Finish Records rising duo
LAKEVIEW predict the unwanted return of a past love in their brand-new song, “
Rain Down” – available now on all streaming platforms and digital retailers.
Written by LAKEVIEW - comprised of Jesse Denaro (NY) and Luke Healy (PA) – and co-produced by the two with Jonathan Roach, the midtempo heartbreak tune focuses on a story everyone knows all too well – just when you start to finally get over a former flame, they always seem to roll back into your life, wreaking havoc once again.
“We’re so excited for everyone to finally hear ‘Rain Down,’” says Denaro. “This is actually one of the first songs Luke and I wrote together a few years ago. It means a lot to us, and we hope it translates that way.”
As an added bonus, the duo also released a
visualizer for the fresh track, which features fun, behind-the-scenes photos of LAKEVIEW over the years.

“I’m so proud of how far we’ve come since writing ‘Rain Down,’” Healy explains. “This video is the perfect reminder of this awesome journey we’ve been on together – one that just keeps getting better and better. All I can do is smile when I watch it.”
“
Rain Down” is the latest in a line of songs from the duo, following their reflective release, “
Eyes Closed,” along with their debut anthem, “
Poor Me,” which the pair reinvented in an acoustic setting and premiered exclusively on
CMT.com. Each track highlights LAKEVIEW’s signature sound, mixing proud Country soul, a taste of Rock & Roll, and a hint of Pop ambition into one singular style – all while showcasing the duo’s passion for old-school storytelling alongside their impressive vocal range.
With each new release, LAKEVIEW continue to garner praise from fans and critics alike, with
The Boot listing “
Poor Me” among their “New Songs You’ve Got to Hear” and
Country Now hailing the duo “undeniably has all of the makings of becoming the next big act in country music.”
Fans can expect more new music from LAKEVIEW in the coming months, as they charge forward in their exciting introduction to the genre.
