FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE TAKES THE ANYTHING GOES TOUR 2015 TO GARDEN-SIZE PROPORTIONS LAST NIGHT (2/25)

Florida Georgia Line brought the party last night (2/25) with their sold-out ANYTHING GOES TOUR stop in New York City for their first appearance at the legendary Madison Square Garden. The superstar duo celebrated this bucket list moment with the roaring crowd of 13,000 plus fans as well as openers Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard.

TheNew York Times lauded their trailblazing sound, “Florida Georgia Line - Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard — weren’t any good at the status quo, but it turned out they were positively great at tossing it out.” And, last night’s show was far from status quo with a dynamic set, including hits from their 2X PLATINUM debut HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES, album cuts from their GOLD, chart-topping sophomore album ANYTHING GOES and an entertaining medley infused with Dr. Dre, Garth Brooks, Meghan Trainor and Bruno Mars covers. FGL closed out the night with an explosive performance of their record-breaking, 8X PLATINUM smash “Cruise.”

FGL will head to Europe today (2/26) for the first time with four upcoming shows on the C2C Country to Country festival tour and will continue the ANYTHING GOES TOUR 2015 on March 21 in Orange Beach, AL.

On the heels of their latest #1 hit “Sun Daze,” the reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year is already lighting up Country radio with their hot new single “Sippin’ On Fire," released earlier this week.

FGL has skyrocketed to stardom becoming the only artist in history to join Brooks & Dunn in achieving four back-to-back, multi-week #1 singles; breaking the record for longest #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and selling over 21 million tracks worldwide of their 2X PLATINUM debut HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES and ANYTHING GOES. In addition to collaborating across genres with sensations like Nelly and Jason Derulo, FGL racked up 13 industry awards throughout 2014, topping four of Billboard’s year-end charts and leading Forbes “30 Under 30” list. Recently, the talented pair earned five ACM Award nominations including their first nod for the prestigious and fan-voted Entertainer of the Year.
