Although they’ve consistently made newcomer waves in the Country genre with their individual song releases, Photo Finish Records’ breakout duo
LAKEVIEW are ready to take it up a notch with their brand-new
SMALL TOWN FAMOUS EP – out June 25.
Serving as their debut project release, the
SMALL TOWN FAMOUS EP highlights all the standout aspects of the duo’s signature sound through a curated collection of five LAKEVIEW originals – all co-written and co-produced by the pair (made up of Jesse Denaro + Luke Healy) alongside a handful of creative collaborators. Wanting to shine a light on their personal favorite tunes from their catalog, the
SMALL TOWN FAMOUS EP not only features some brand-new summertime staples, but also highlights a couple of the songs that helped establish LAKEVIEW as one of
Sounds Like Nashville’s Artists to Watch for 2021 – including their debut anthem, “
Poor Me,” and fan-favorite singalong, “
She Drove Me To The Bar.”
“We are so dang excited to share this EP with everyone,” Denaro explains. “With everything that has happened over the past year, this project has been a long time coming, but it feels so great to finally release some new music and give fans another chance to learn a little more about us with each of these songs. This EP is essentially a collection of the songs we’re most proud of, so when it’s all said and done, we just hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do – and that they sit back, crack a cold one, and turn that volume up.”
In celebration, LAKEVIEW are also sharing a sneak peek of what fans can expect from the new music off the project with the release of the Rock & Roll infused anthem “
Hits Different” – available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers today (6/4). Written by Denaro, Healy, Quint Collins and Jake Rose, the hard-charging track raises a glass to small town living, spotlighting some of the best parts of planting your roots outside of the city – because everything from fishing and skinny dipping in a no-name creek to just sipping reasonably priced beer at your local dive just “
Hits Different.”
