After revealing she’s expecting a baby girl, PLATINUM Country star
RaeLynn has dropped
“Made For Me To Love (Demo),” inspired by first-time motherhood. Originally shared as a clip on
TikTok to accompany a behind the scenes look at her pregnancy journey so far, the song caught fire with users creating videos to recap their own parenting stories. With demand building for its release, RaeLynn is surprising fans with the track
out today.
“Right when I found out I was pregnant I had so many emotions like any new mom, but the biggest one is the overwhelming love I felt for my baby only having her in my belly for eight weeks,” shares RaeLynn. “It was like I already knew her and met her because there was so much love. Just like when I first met Josh or when I found faith in my relationship with Jesus. All of them were meant for me to love.”
Announcing the happy news with
PEOPLE that she and husband, Josh Davis, will welcome their daughter in September, RaeLynn penned the tribute to a love
tattooed on her heart alongside Drew Kennedy and Ben Stennis with production by Corey Crowder and Stennis. “Made For Me To Love” is the first look at more new music coming from RaeLynn this summer, following her 2020
BAYTOWN EP (Round Here Records).
Back on stage with her vibrant energy, she is hitting downtown Nashville Wednesday nights now through July 7 for her first-ever honky-tonk residency. "RaeLynn's Downtown Party Live From Ole Red" benefits the CMA Foundation and ACM Lifting Lives COVID-19 Response Fund. For more information and a full list of upcoming tour dates,
