GABBY BARRETT SOARS WITH FOUR NOMINATIONS AT 2021 CMA AWARDS

Gabby Barrett is continuing to take the Country music world by storm, scoring an impressive FOUR nominations for this year’s 55th Annual CMA Awards. The MULTI-PLATINUM star is nominated for Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “The Good Ones,” Female Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year, making her the MOST-NOMINATED female at the upcoming 2021 ceremony.

On cloud nine, Barrett exclaimed “Oh my goodness, two seconds after I woke up, I found out that I had FOUR nominations at the CMA Awards!! Most nominated female, ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!!! Thank you so much to the Country music industry for voting and being so kind to me and my songs, both ‘I Hope’ and ‘The Good Ones.’ I’m so excited and truly blown away!”

Featured on her top-streaming debut album GOLDMINE, PLATINUM-certified hit “The Good Ones” spent three weeks at #1 on Country radio and topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for four weeks. The song’s music video also earned Barrett the win for Female Video of the Year at the 2021 CMT Music Awards. Written by Barrett, Zach Kale, Emily Landis and Jim McCormick, “The Good Ones” has been praised by PEOPLE as a testimony “to Barrett’s mate and to love itself,” with MusicRow calling it a “sweet, elegant piece” that’s “solid, and the sentiment rings true.” Forbes lauded the hit as “heartfelt,” and The Boot dubbed it “a love song for the ones worth holding onto.”
 
In 2020, Barrett was nominated at the CMAs for Single of the Year for her smash crossover hit “I Hope” and New Artist of the Year.
