ABOUT CHRIS SHIFLETT:
Chris Shiflett, recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with his band the Foo Fighters, was raised alongside the California coastline in Santa Barbara, CA. Shiflett kicked off his career in seminal Pop-Punk groups like No Use For a Name and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. As the '90s gave way to the 2000s, he joined the Foo Fighters’ lineup and has since become one of the band's longest-running members, flying the flag of modern Rock & Roll for two decades. Along the way, he's also become the host of popular Americana podcast, Walking the Floor with Chris Shiflett, and has logged over 200+ interviews that range from Country superstar Chris Stapleton, to legend Merle Haggard, one and only singer/songwriters like Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson, to an outside of the box passion discussion with champion boxer Manny Pacquiao. In addition, Shiflett is the driving force behind his own acclaimed solo projects West Coast Town and Hard Lessons, records that blur the boundaries between Country and Rock & Roll, with songs that nod to the classic Bakersfield sound while also paying tribute to the greasy guitar style of Keith Richards.
