JUNE 25: SHY CARTER DEBUTS AT THE GRAND OLE OPRY

A proven in-demand entertainer, Warner Music Nashville multi-talent Shy Carter is taking his stage cred to the next level by starting his summer with several key performances, including his Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville, TN, on June 25. Fans can purchase tickets to catch this milestone appearance here.

This dream-come-true performance comes as Carter is readying for Nashville’s CMA Fest. With a double dose of performances on tap, he’ll host and play during the CMA Fest Nighttime Concert – presented by Warner Music Nashville – at Ascend Amphitheater on June 11, before bringing his “signature country-soul swagger” (according to E! News) the following day (6/12) to the Dr Pepper Amp Stage. Recently spotlighted in the Amazon Music Original feature-length documentary, For Love & Country, Carter is also set to participate in a panel hosted by Dyana Williams inside Fan Fair X on the CMA Close Up Stage. Directed by Joshua Kissi and out now in the Amazon Music app and on Prime Video, For Love & Country examines Country music through the personal stories of a new generation of Black artists claiming space in Nashville — and helping to transform the genre in the process. Full ticketing information for CMA Fest can be found here.

The 2021 Amazon Music Artist to Watch released “Hard” as an Amazon Original track that’s available on the For Love & Country official playlist on Amazon Music. He also dropped a stripped-down piano-driven version of the song on YouTube. Watch “Hard (Live on the Grand)” here.

As one of the most formidable rising stars, Carter keeps breaking boundaries in the genre with CMT praising his “unmatched talents,” and further hailing, “It is the way he carefully blends his gospel roots, R&B background, and soulful vocals with traditional country that makes Carter a cut above the rest.” He’ll continue his FREE monthly residency atop The Skydeck on Broadway at Assembly Food Hall in Fifth & Broadway with his third takeover on June 15. With surprise guests promised, find additional show details for Shy Carter and Friends on Nashville’s largest rooftop here.
