“'Up For Anything' is a song I wrote with a good buddy of mine, Cody Gregg," Parker says. 'Up For Anything' is a song about meeting a new person that you'll do just about anything to be together, no matter how far outside of your comfort zone it is."
The rising pure-Country vocalist wrapped a week of performances at CMA Fest in Nashville, Tenn., including sets at SkyDeck, Hard Rock Café, and was the first ever artist to perform at American Songwriter’s brand-new event space on Wednesday, June 8.
Helping unleash a fresh creative force, Parker earlier released a sample of two tracks “Caught Me at a Good Time” and “Good Beer Drinkin’” as a perfect introduction to his unique mix of modern swagger and honky-tonk edge. Starting to garner critical acclaim, Country Now claims, “With a perfect blend of traditional sounds and modern lyrics, Parker’s two tracks are already becoming strong contenders for summertime anthems.”
Featuring Parker’s warm sound created by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Blake Chancey (The Chicks’ Wide Open Spaces, Fly), each of his three now-released tracks show a different side of the newcomer.
Parker has also already attracted some big name believers. Announced earlier this year, Parker signed to EM.Co – the management firm behind superstar Tim McGraw – and is also signed to McGraw’s publishing company, Free Dive, in partnership with TriScore Music.
Set to take the stage at Summerfest next week (6/30) in Milwaukee, Wis., Parker will be opening for hitmaker Michael Ray. In addition, he will be performing at the inaugural TidalWave Festival in Atlantic City, N.J., in August (8/13). Check his official website for upcoming tour details and more info.
