Directed by Dustin Haney, the football-focused music video finds Randy Rogers sitting in the empty stands of AT&T Stadium wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey as he sings about a cherished memory, recalling the day when he and his late father attended a Cowboys game together for the first time. Footage of Rogers is intercut with childhood home videos of the singer and his dad, which continue as Rogers moves down to the field strumming an acoustic guitar and gazing out at the expansive venue, which is captured in sweeping shots that fully display its scope.
"I want to say thank you to the Dallas Cowboys for the opportunity to film at AT&T Stadium," Rogers shares. "My Dad would be so proud. It’s always an honor to stand on that Star. Go Cowboys!"
"Heart for Just One Team" was written by Rogers with John Baumann and was highlighted by Wide Open Country as one of the 10 best Country songs about football. The track was released in August and was the third song fans had heard from Homecoming following lead single "Picture Frames," which went to #1 at Texas Country radio, and "Nothing But Love Songs." Last week, the band shared more new music from their upcoming album, releasing the self-reflection track "Know That by Now."
On Tuesday night, (9/27), Randy Rogers Band will perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, in the band's latest opportunity to step into the famed Circle. See their full list of tour dates here.
