Randy Rogers Band frontman Randy Rogers was part of a memorable evening in his home state of Texas on Saturday (2/25), attending and performing at the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Show.
Held at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, the event concluded a two-day celebration honoring the organization's latest class of inductees, including Alejandro Escovedo, Gary P. Nunn, Radney Foster, Rodney Clawson and W.C. Clark. Rogers was on hand to honor Foster, who produced several early Randy Rogers Band albums as well as the group's latest project, 2022's HOMECOMING.
During the evening, Rogers took the stage with Foster, Kacey Musgraves and William Beckmann to perform a rendition of the song "Texas In 1880," which was written by Foster and first recorded by the duo Foster & Lloyd.
HOMECOMING has produced multiple singles including Randy Rogers Band's latest, "Fast Car," which is currently spinning on numerous radio stations and is in the Top 5 at Texas Country radio. The "Fast Car" music video, directed by Dustin Haney, exclusively premiered on CMT upon release and was deemed an "electrifying performance."
Following this weekend's appearance at the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Show, Randy Rogers Band will head to Nashville on Thursday, March 2 to headline the iconic Ryman Auditorium. See the band's full list of tour dates here.
