Laura Bryna is bringing a candy confection to Country radio with her latest single, "Jawbreaker," already impacting at over 15 stations. The addictive track is currently sitting at #54 on the Country Indicator Chart and since its release, "Jawbreaker" is quickly approaching 1 MILLION streams on Spotify, with the accompanying music video garnering over 2 MILLION views on YouTube.
Written by Bryna with Damon Sharpe and Eric Sanicola and produced by Damon Sharpe, Eric Sanicola and Michael Carey, "Jawbreaker" is a slinky and sultry declaration of strength as Bryna warns a serial heartbreaker that she won't be swayed so easily. She's "been there, done that," using the candy metaphor to describe the Lothario in question and her own tough spirit. Guitar Girl Magazine declared Bryna "on a roll" with the song, and All Country News hailed it as "the perfect new power anthem."
"Ain't no breaking me / I'm a real tough one to crack," she sings over a hard-hitting guitar line. "Honey's super sweet / But it don't come out like that."
On June 2, fans will get another taste of "Jawbreaker" with the release of a remix by DJ Coppermines. Bryna recently held a competition on a Discord server for DJs as a fun way to choose a remix of her song, receiving over 40 entries. DJ Coppermines' talent stood out, and "Jawbreaker (Coppermines Remix)" will arrive in just under one week. Bryna isn't stopping there, planning to share more new music with fans this summer.
Bryna will bring "Jawbreaker" to Nashville during CMA Fest weekend (6/8-6/11), where she's scheduled to perform as a featured artist at The Nash News takeover event at Assembly Food Hall on June 10th at 10pm CST. Following her trip to Music City, Bryna will be the featured artist at a radio event for KDES Palm Springs on June 29.
