Chart-climbing RECORDS Nashville songwriter-artist George Birge enlists fellow Texan RaeLynn for a double shot of romantic intoxication with midnight-Country collaboration “Whiskey Go ‘Round.” Available across all streaming platforms and digital retailers today (10/13), listen here.

“RaeLynn has been a great friend forever and I’ve always thought it would be amazing to work with her,” shares Birge. “When I finished this song, I felt like she was the perfect fit for it and the first time I heard her voice on the recording I knew that was exactly what it needed.”

A smoldering slow-burner with a heavy late-night buzz, “Whiskey Go ‘Round (feat. RaeLynn)” was co-written by Birge with Parker Welling, Jennifer Hart, and Casey Brown. Through a thick haze of distortion, steel guitar and electronic beats form the soundtrack to a lusty last-call drama. Also produced by Brown, Birge’s swagger collides with RaeLynn’s sparkle, while the adjoining music video sets the scene. Directed by Midtown Motion, the clip was filmed inside Dee's Country Cocktail Lounge in Madison, TN, and finds Birge and RaeLynn going shot-for-shot – and verse-for-verse – as they fight to resist the urge of one more round.
