RECORDS Nashville artist-songwriter George Birge pumps new energy into his Top 5 Country radio debut, “Mind On You,” tapping charlieonnafriday and Kidd G for a hot-blooded remix today (12/15). Watch the visualizer here.

Written by Birge with Jaron Boyer, Michael Tyler and Colt Ford, the original track has become a bonafide breakout smash for the Texas native, built around a hypnotic groove and capturing the addictive passion of a nighttime cruise, spent under the influence of love.

Adding in fresh attitude and slow-rolling swagger, the remix goes even further on the road to all-out desire, with charlieonnafriday and Kidd G each adding their own flavor to a pair of brand-new verses. The group came together to collaborate on the visualizer directed by Midtown Motion. Filmed in both Nashville and Los Angeles, check it out below.

A fan of both guest artists and their freewheeling creativity, Birge sensed his chart-rising hit with more than 23.5 MILLION total global streams had the potential to become even more.

I knew I wanted to do a new version of ‘Mind On You’ with some features to give it a new life and get it heard by a wider audience, and I thought they would be the perfect fit. The title track to his 2023 album debut, George Birge: Mind On You, the original version leads a set of 10 tracks – all co-penned by Birge himself – full of white-hot emotional writing, and harrowing tales of young love, broken hearts and weathered wisdom.

Led by a lush, smoky-smooth vocal and richly textured modern-Country sound, other early-career successes include the viral hit “Beer Beer, Truck Truck” and collaboration with RaeLynn “Whiskey Go Round,” which was released this fall.

With his profile steadily on the rise, Birge was just named as one of the New Faces of Country Music for CRS 2024 and will perform alongside Dillon Carmichael, Corey Kent, Megan Moroney and Conner Smith at this anticipated show. The concert serves as a platform to showcase five emerging artists who have achieved notable success on Country Radio from November 1, 2022, to October 31, 2023. 

Meanwhile, he’s finishing up a watershed year of nationwide touring and will return to the road for his biggest exposure yet in 2024. Starting February 1 in Peoria, Illinois, he’ll join Parker McCollum on select dates of the BURN IT DOWN TOUR 2024, with shows all across the Eastern U.S. ending June 1 in Jacksonville, Florida.
