Written by LOCASH’s Preston Brust and Chris Lucas with Zach Abend and Andy Albert, “Hometown Home” puts an irresistible spin on the classic love song, adding a bit of sweet nostalgia to their heartfelt dreaming of the future. In the spirit of past singles like the PLATINUM-certified smash “I Love This Life” and GOLD #1 hits “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody,” Brust and Lucas bring a carefree but soulful energy to every line as they sing the praises of settling down in a town full of cherished memories (from the second verse: “Girl, we just won’t find our names spray-painted/Under any other Main Street bridge/If we hit that road in a Winnebago/Imagine all the things we’d miss”).
“It’s about planting roots, hand-holding, kitchen dancing: an anthem for building a life together,” LOCASH explain. “It’s about creating a home inside a town you've always known. It’s a reminder for all of us of how important our roots are.
