COUNTRY LEGENDS RANDY ROGERS AND WADE BOWEN DISH UP HOLD MY BEER, VOL. 4 EP

Just shy of one year following the release of the third installment in their beloved Hold My Beer series of EPs, Country icons Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen are back once more with Hold My Beer, Vol. 4. The six-track EP arrives on July 12. The two Texas troubadours dive deep into all the emotions, pulling zero punches on their latest effort: from weighing risky decisions (“One Way Highway”), to never judging a book by its cover (“Poor Armadillo”), taking life by the horns (“Wasting Time Waitin’”) and, of course, drinking (“All I Wanna Do Is Drink”), these songs cut to the core.  Pre-save Hold My Beer, Vol. 4 here.

Both legends in their own right, Rogers and Bowen have been working together in a professional capacity for nearly a decade now: they released Hold My Beer, Vol. 1 in 2015; Vol. 2 arrived in 2020; and the third installment dropped last year. Their latest project picks up right where they left off – trading vocals and each slinging their respective wisdom on wax.

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear what Vol. 4 holds,” says Rogers. “Hold my beer that is. See what I did there.”

“Another Hold My Beer that will have ya dancing and drinking and tappin’ your foot,” Bowen adds. “Get your beers ready!”

Once again, Rogers and Bowen wrote and produced across the entire EP, alongside co-writers and longtime peers including Wyatt McCubbin, David Lee Murphy, Aaron Raitiere and Jim Beavers.

ABOUT RANDY ROGERS:
Fronted by singer-songwriter Randy Rogers and featuring Geoffrey Hill (guitar), Jon Richardson pka Johnny Chops (bass guitar), Brady Black (fiddle), Les Lawless (drums), and Todd Stewart (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards), the Randy Rogers Band was founded in San Marcos, Texas, and has spent the last 20+ years bringing the Texas Country tradition to dedicated fans around the nation and beyond. With nine studio albums behind them, global streaming numbers in the hundreds of millions and a reputation for must-see Country-Rock performances, the band has charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, five Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and numerous Texas Country Radio chart No. 1s, securing its place in the pantheon of Texas musical giants. Following their 2019 album HELLBENT (produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb), 2022's HOMECOMING received critical acclaim and brought the band back to where it all started with their original producer Radney Foster, culminating in a project that nods to the past with its roots planted firmly in the present. American Songwriter hails “[HOMECOMING] shines a light on where they’ve been and how far they’ve come,” while Hook & Barrel give nods of approval to “[t]hat classic sound, brawny and melodic,” apparent throughout. The group’s sophomore album – also produced by Foster – ROLLERCOASTER turns 20 this year, starting a schedule full of anniversary celebrations as the band dives headfirst into 2024. In addition to fronting the iconic band, Rogers' artistry also includes work with Jerry Jeff Walker, Alison Krauss, Radney Foster, Willie Nelson and the mystery duo called The Stryker Brothers, which was revealed to be Randy and mentor, Robert Earl Keen. Rogers and Bowen's latest Hold My Beer, Vol. 4 EP is the latest in their series of hit Hold My Beer projects.

ABOUT WADE BOWEN:
Two decades and more than 4,000 shows into his career, Wade Bowen has become synonymous with country music, songwriting, and captivating live performances, and for good reason. An artistic descendant of American icons like Guy Clark, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Robert Earl Keen and more, Bowen is an important voice in a legacy of Texas troubadours stretching back more than 50 years. Texas Radio agrees, as he scored Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year at the 2024 T3R Awards, marking the second year in a row that Bowen took home all three awards.

Revered as one of the genre’s finest and most authentic modern voices, Bowen’s approach is rooted in tradition, but also stands on the creative cutting edge. His focus remains on writing unique songs with a literary quality and shifting his sonic territory to match his life. More than a dozen albums have shown his musical diversity – including ten studio sets, four live collections, and an ongoing series of buddy-country hits with fellow Texan, Randy Rogers. On May 10th, the singer-songwriter released his tenth studio album, Flyin, showcasing his diverse musical range and hard-hitting songwriting, as well as a cast of respected features that add unique elements throughout.

Bowen continues to perform more than 200 dates a year across the U.S., solidifying his dedication to connecting with fans through his live performances. There is no slowing down for the road warrior either, with a steady stream of festivals and tour dates lined up for 2024, including a special run in his hometown of New Braunfels, TX alongside long-time friend and collaborator, Miranda Lambert.

A philanthropist at heart, Bowen founded the Bowen Family Foundation, which has helped children and families in and around central Texas by raising more than $6 million for beneficiaries including March of Dimes Waco, CASA of McLennan and Hill Counties, City of West Disaster Relief, Boys & Girls Clubs of Waco, Inspiración, The Mentoring Alliance, and more.
