For nearly a decade now, Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen have been serving up Country jams like only the two Texas legends can. Now, to mark the beginning of their Hold My Beer, Vol. 4 era, the duo returns with their latest anthem: “All I Wanna Do Is Drink,” – listen here. 

“’All I Wanna Do Is Drink’ will be your favorite drinking song of the summer,” Rogers says without hesitation. “Mark my words or the beers are on Wade.”

Bowen adds,“’All I Wanna Do Is Drink’ is Country music. I love this old-school approach of talking to a stranger in a bar about the one that got away and how a beer can usually help heal the wounds.”

Yes, the pair’s latest song, written by the two alongside co-writer David Lee Murphy, is a supreme tale of loss and regret — not to mention companionship found on and in front of a barstool. “I got slow walked/I got sweet talked/I got left with a kiss on the cheek/But if you saw her you’d understand/ Why all I wanna do is drink.”

Just shy of one year following the release of the third installment in their beloved Hold My Beer series of EPs, Rogers and Bowen return on July 12 with Hold My Beer, Vol. 4. The two Texas troubadours dive deep into all the emotions on their latest EP: from weighing risky decisions (“One Way Highway”) to never judging a book by its cover (“Poor Armadillo”), taking life by the horns (“Wasting Time Waitin’”) and, of course, drinking (“All I Wanna Do Is Drink”). Pre-save Hold My Beer, Vol. 4 here.

Both legends in their own right, Rogers and Bowen have been working together in a professional capacity for nearly a decade now: they released Hold My Beer, Vol. 1 in 2015; Vol. 2 arrived in 2020; and the third installment dropped last year. Their latest project picks up right where they left off – trading vocals and each slinging their respective wisdom on wax. 

Once again, Rogers and Bowen wrote and produced across the entire EP, alongside co-writers and longtime peers including Wyatt McCubbin, David Lee Murphy, Aaron Raitiere and Jim Beavers.

Following the EP’s release, Rogers and Bowen will pound the pavement on the HOLD MY BEER TOUR that kicks off in July. The Texas outing gets underway with a performance in College Station on July 17 and then stops in Lubbock, Fort Worth, Houston, Corpus Christi, and Round Rock before ending in New Braunfels on July 27.
