CHASE MATTHEW DELIVERS ALWAYS BE MINE ON JULY 4

As the buzz around Warner Music Nashville’s Chase Matthew only intensifies, the Country riser is keeping momentum red-hot with a brand-new EP, Always Be Mine. Releasing July 4, fans can now pre-save/pre-add Always Be Mine and get a preview of the project with the bouncy, synth-anchored banger “Saltwater Cinderella” here.

“I’m always excited to share new music with my fans, and I’ve been having fun teasing snippets of these songs on socials and during my live show,” shares Matthew. “This Always Be Mine EP came together somewhat spontaneously, and ‘Saltwater Cinderella’ is a great example of inspiration striking me in the moment. I wrote that one with close friends as I was headed down to Florida for BMI’s Key West Songwriters Festival. It’s a fun summer song about those girls that love to spend time at the beach. Hope y’all get out on the water and turn it up!”

Picking up where the Music City native left off with February’s explosive We All Grow Up EP, Matthew’s Always Be Mine EP finds the singer-songwriter at his most mature, melodic, and downright masterful. There’s a clear sense he has hit his stride on his latest collection: new age, Hip Hop adjacent beats meld with classic Country tones and Matthew’s effortlessly powerful vocal range. And of course, there’s the quintessential storytelling from him as well: from the nostalgic, yearnful title track and “First” taste of the five-song project (four to his songwriting credit) released last month, to the playful kiss-off “Crazy Girls” and ‘80s, synth-slathered bop “Saltwater Cinderella,” the Always Be Mine EP rounds out with a soulful callback to Matthew’s biggest hit to date, PLATINUM-certified smash “County Line,” dubbed “How You Been (Letter To The County Line Girl).” At its heart, the Always Be Mine EP is Matthew staking his claim as one of Country music’s most promising young stars.
