LIV WRITE PLAY PUBLISHING IMPRINT INKS DEAL WITH SONGWRITER/PRODUCER AARON SCHERZ

Liv Write Play proudly announces today (9/22) the signing of an exclusive publishing agreement with hit songwriter/producer Aaron Scherz. He joins the company’s roster including rising country songstress Olivia Lane and songwriter/artist/producer Leland Grant.

They are a very forward-thinking organization that is tirelessly focused on creating what’s next for the format,” says Scherz. “Ilya and I have worked together in the studio for years and I think he is one of the best musical minds to ever grace Music Row. I’m looking forward to combining our unique skillsets to develop some very compelling artists and music.”

Becoming known for his knack at discovering and developing young talent, Scherz recently earned his first chart-topper as co-writer and co-producer on Maddie & Tae’s Platinum-certified debut single “Girl In A Country Song,” which made history as the second debut country single by a female duo to reach #1 since 2006 with The Wreckers' "Leave the Pieces." Scherz co-wrote five songs included on the duo’s debut studio album and the powerful duet “Enough” performed by Country superstar Reba McEntire and Jennifer Nettles. His tracks have also been featured on the popular ABC TV series “Nashville” and THE MUSIC OF NASHVILLE soundtracks.
