TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR BETTER THAN EZRA’S LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT TOUR

Alt-Rock icons Better Than Ezra are thrilled to announce that tickets are on sale now for their fall U.S. headline tour, LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT. As announced earlier this week, the 13-date run kicks off on November 8 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and continues through December 7 in Henderson, Nevada. Go here to buy tickets for LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT, and see below for the full tour itinerary.

With stops in major cities across the country — including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas — LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT is BTE’s second headline tour in support of their new album Super Magick. Released via Round Hill Records in May, the New Orleans-bred band’s long-awaited tenth studio LP features longtime fan favorites like “Live A Little”: a supercharged pop anthem that served as the namesake for BTE’s spring headline run. Go here to stream/download Super Magick now.

Known for loading their setlist with timeless hits like “Good,” “Desperately Wanting,” and “King of New Orleans,” BTE endlessly embody a fun-loving energy emblematic of a band who got their start playing house parties at Louisiana State University back in 1988. Over the years, they’ve frequently sold out amphitheaters and arenas all around the world while maintaining an incredibly close connection with the close-knit community of fans who call themselves “Ezralites.”

“At this point we’re on a first-name basis with a lot of our fans,” says BTE bassist Tom Drummond. “We go into every show knowing that for some people in the audience, we’re their favorite band of all time — which makes us work that much harder to make it meaningful for them.”

With its name nodding to past outings like the hard-charging RETURN OF LEGENDS OF THE FALL 2023 TOUR and 2022’s LEGENDS OF THE FALL TOUR, LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT will begin not long after BTE wraps up a busy season of summer festivals. Along with performing at SummerfestPleasantville Music FestivalMusikfest, and more, the band will make a highly anticipated return to the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival — a Franklin, TN-based event co-founded by BTE singer/guitarist Kevin Griffin, taking place on September 28. The band exists in rare air among their peers, having occupied spots on Billboard’s 100 Greatest Alternative Songs of All Time” and “100 Greatest Alternative Artists of All Time.” Better Than Ezra was a prominent fixture on radio and MTV in the Nineties and early 2000’s, thanks in large part to the monumental success of their cherished 1993 independent album DELUXE, which included standout fan-favorite “Good” —a MULTI-PLATINUM-selling #1 hit on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks Chart.

ABOUT BETTER THAN EZRA:
Songs, albums, live performances — some are simply timeless. From their early roots, circa 1988, playing house parties at Louisiana State University, Better Than Ezra have made their mark on the music world in a major way. Yes, the New Orleans quartet, founded by Kevin Griffin [lead vocals, guitar, piano] and Tom Drummond [bass, backing vocals], who unleash hummable melodies, unshakable guitar riffs, and confessional lyrics, have stood the test of time — from 1995’s #1 hit “Good” all the way to Taylor Swift’s famous 2010 cover of the Better Than Ezra classic “Breathless.” And they’re still going strong: after headlining monumental live shows all throughout 2023, the band released their long-anticipated tenth studio album Super Magick via Round Hill Records in May. Named one of the “100 Greatest Alternative Artists of All Time” by Billboard, with a legacy that includes inspiring a classic Saturday Night Live skit, Better Than Ezra recently completed their headline LIVE A LITTLE TOUR, with their LEGENDS OF THE FALL: TOKYO DRIFT tour kicking off in November.
