ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY “BREAKING BIG” VOCALIST OLIVIA LANE RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO AND FREE SONG OF THE WEEK: “GIMME THE BEAT”

Big Spark Music Group’s flagship artist Olivia Lane has released the music video and free song download, “Gimme The Beat,” this week at OliviaLane.com and across her social sites. Entertainment Weekly recently celebrated Lane’s “bold and brassy tunes (and incredible pipes)” with the release of her free song download and acoustic video for “Lightning.” Lane is now unveiling the fourth track, “Gimme The Beat,” on the heels of “Steal Me Away” and “You Part 2” from her forthcoming complimentary acoustic LP, HEART UNLOCKED, due out on October 9. Lane co-wrote the lively and catchy song with Phil Barton (Lee Brice’s #1 hit, “A Woman Like You”) and Stephony Smith (1997 ACM “Song of the Year,” Tim McGraw’s “It’s Your Love”). Recently opening for Kip Moore and Easton Corbin, Lane will be touring this fall throughout the U.S. and will join Neal McCoy, Trace Adkins, Thompson Square and Charlie Worsham among others on the week-long Country Cruising voyage throughout the Caribbean, which sets sail on October 23.

Lane has garnered national attention as an artist to watch in 2015 with CMT featuring her debut single, “Steal Me Away,” in their Listen Up Music Discovery Program on CMT Pure and Country Weekly recognized her as one of 2015’s “Who’s New” artists. The fresh-faced newcomer has been immersed in the craft and tradition of Country music since she was a little girl, eager to follow in the footsteps of her mother who was a Country singer. She studied music, songwriting and acting in college at USC and immediately upon graduation moved to Nashville to pursue her lifelong dream of a career in Country music.
