“Ain’t About You” became a standout track on 19 Recordings/BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s label-debut EP, Tennessee Girl. What HunterGirl refers to as her “45 minute-conversation with Jesus” went on to make history as the first debut radio single in over 30 years to be completely written by a female Country artist herself.

Named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, the Winchester, TN, native recently took to the stage at Nashville’s iconic Basement East to open for Kimberly Perry as a part of CMT’s NEXT WOMEN OF COUNTRY TOUR. In addition, she’ll continue to stay out on the road making headline performances and select stops in Oklahoma City, OK, (10/5) and Des Moines, IA, (10/6) on her biggest Idol believer Luke Bryan’s MIND OF A COUNTRY BOY TOUR

In addition to her jam-packed performance schedule, HunterGirl’s recent EP release Tennessee Girl continues to earn praises, as MusicRow’s DISClaimer hailed, “[t]his woman sings her face off. Make her a star,” and The Tennessean applauds “HunterGirl's debut EP showcases her desire to get more honest with fans as her renown grows.” Meanwhile, Billboard spotlighted HunterGirl as its Rookie of the Month for June, calling her “a clear-eyed purveyor of emotional depth” – and Tennessee Girl offers plenty of proof.

HunterGirl has been praised by People for her “incredible voice,” while also being proclaimed an “Artist to Watch” by Country Now and “a major, major new talent” by MusicRow. She’s topped the iTunes All Genre and Country charts with her wistful “Red Bird” and made her Grand Ole Opry debut this spring.
