Today, singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Sophia Scott announces she’ll be headlining Colours Hoxton in London, UK on December 3. Ringing in her first ever UK headline show just before the holiday season, Scott will share the stage with support Abbie Mac. This anticipated performance follows her introduction at C2C: Country to Country earlier this year, Europe’s biggest Country music festival. General on sale is set for Friday, September 13 at 4am CST/10am BST and can be purchased here: sophiascottmusic.com.
On September 20, Scott will make her Ryman Auditorium debut supporting Niko Moon’s THESE ARE THE DAYS TOUR. As part of this fall trek, she’ll hit cities spanning coast to coast including major markets such as Phoenix, Arizona, Huntington, New York, Detroit, Michigan, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and more. Check out her full tour schedule here.
Building on the success of her acclaimed debut LP BARSTOOL CONFESSIONS (EMPIRE), Scott released “Wildflowers” in June setting the tone for new music to come.
All eyes are on the Pandora Artist To Watch 2024: Country since making her Grand Ole Opry debut on October 20, 2023, further celebrating the release of BARSTOOL CONFESSIONS. Offering plenty of much-needed inspiration for overcoming post-breakup blues, Scott reveals the more painful aspects of reclaiming your independence. The album features “Boots, Jeans, & Jesus” (hailed by Holler as a “cheekily knowing celebration of all the ups and downs…”), “Lipstick on You” (lauded by MusicRow's DISClaimer as "[s]ultry and soul-tinged….Add some blues to your playlist with this dandy, stately lament”), “No You Didn’t” (a stomp-and-clap anthem spotlighting Scott’s singular mix of humor, heart, and good-natured bravado as she takes all the shame out of post-party remorse), and the deeply personal “Watering Roses.” Recorded in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Vail, Colorado, the album brings Scott’s whip-smart and self-aware songwriting to a one-of-a-kind sound perfectly suited to a lifelong musician inspired by such eclectic genres as ’90s Country-Pop, throwback Soul music, and Southern Rock.
