KELSEA BALLERINI MAKES LATE NIGHT TV DEBUT ON ABC’S JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! TOMORROW (9/30)

Black River Entertainment’s Kelsea Ballerini is soaring on cloud nine after taking the stage Friday night (9/25) at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena as one of Taylor Swift’s surprise guests on the 1989 World Tour. Marking Ballerini’s first time performing on this arena stage, she and Swift took turns singing verses of Ballerini’s #1, GOLD-certified smash “Love Me Like You Mean It,” ending with an explosion of pink heart-shaped confetti.

Following this treasured moment, Ballerini shared with The Tennessean, “To have become friends with (Swift) this year and for her to be gracious enough to share her stage with me in an arena I have dreamt about playing in for so many years, is one of my greatest memories.”

The excitement continues for the double CMA Award nominee (New Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year) as she makes her late night TV debut on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow (9/30) at 11:35p/10:35p CT, performing her sassy, Top 25-and-climbing single “Dibs.”

Ballerini has been scoring a number of recent high-profile media appearances, including People Magazine naming her “The Country Sweetheart” in their elite “Ones to Watch” portfolio. The only Country music artist to make the list, she joins the selected crop of 26 rising stars including actors, musicians, and influencers, like Adam DeVine, Francesca Eastwood, Tori Kelly, Daisy Ridley, the cast of “Scream Queens," and Walk the Moon. Also of note, Billboard Magazine touts her as “Country’s Next Queen,” Rolling Stone proclaims her  “Nashville It Girl” and CMT selected her as one of the Next Women of Country.

Ballerini launched to stardom with the release of her #1, GOLD-certified debut "Love Me Like You Mean It" and current chart-rising single “Dibs.” Abuzz with shout-outs from superstars Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town, she is the first solo female artist in nine years to hit #1 with her debut country single and one of only 11 women to have ever hit the top of the charts with a debut. Both “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Dibs” are featured on her debut album THE FIRST TIME (Black River Entertainment), co-produced by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jason Massey, which landed Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. After spending the summer opening select shows for Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, she will join Dan + Shay’s JUST THE RIGHT KIND OF CRAZY TOUR this fall.
