RANDY ROGERS BAND SURPRISED WITH PANDORA BILLIONAIRE PLAQUE AT HOMETOWN GRUENE HALL SHOW

Texas’ own legendary group Randy Rogers Band went back to their roots for a special hometown show this past Friday (10/11) in New Braunfels, TX at the beloved Gruene Hall. The icons were surprised in front of a packed house with the Pandora Billionaire Plaque. The honor commemorates over ONE BILLION streams on the platform.

“I want to thank Johnny Chiang and Pandora for presenting us with the Billionaire Award for over one billion streams on Pandora,” says Rogers. “Feels great to be in my first and only billionaires club. Can’t thank Pandora and the fans enough. They have been with us since the beginning and can't wait to continue sharing new music for everyone to get up and dance to.”

The Randy Rogers Band is currently taking their 20-year anniversary celebration for their critically acclaimed album, Rollercoaster, on the road to cities all over the country. Their music has stood the test of time, and their sold-out shows prove that Randy Rogers Band is “What Texas Music Should Sound Like” (Rolling Stone).

The legendary Lonestar group has charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and numerous No. 1 songs on the Texas Country Radio chart. In addition to their headlining shows, Randy Rogers Band is out on the road supporting fellow Texan Parker McCollum for select dates after previously sharing the stage with Dierks BentleyFlatland Cavalry and Ian Munsick

ABOUT RANDY ROGERS BAND:
Fronted by singer-songwriter Randy Rogers and featuring Geoffrey Hill (guitar), Jon Richardson aka Johnny Chops (bass guitar), Brady Black (fiddle), Les Lawless (drums), and Todd Stewart (guitar, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards), the Randy Rogers Band was founded in San Marcos, Texas, and has spent the last 20+ years bringing the Texas Country tradition to dedicated fans around the nation and beyond. With nine studio albums behind them, global streaming numbers in the hundreds of millions and a reputation for must-see Country-Rock performances, the band has charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, five Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and numerous Texas Country Radio chart No. 1s, securing its place in the pantheon of Texas musical giants. Following their 2019 album Hellbent (produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb), 2022’s Homecoming received critical acclaim and brought the band back to where it all started with their original producer Radney Foster, culminating in a project that nods to the past with its roots planted firmly in the present. American Songwriter hails “[Homecoming] shines a light on where they’ve been and how far they’ve come,” while Hook & Barrel give nods of approval to “[t]hat classic sound, brawny and melodic,” apparent throughout. The group’s sophomore album – also produced by Foster – Rollercoaster turned 20 in August, with a year full of anniversary celebrations.
