TRACE ADKINS MAKES A DEAL WITH OL’ SAINT NICK IN MISCHIEVOUS NEW CHRISTMAS SINGLE “NAUGHTY LIST”

MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer Trace Adkins pleads with Ol’ Saint Nick in playful new Christmas single, “Naughty List” (Verge Records). In true Adkins’ fashion, the Country icon toes the line with this raunchy yet classy and composed holiday jingle. Listen here

Santa Claus might be arriving in a few weeks, but Adkins is ready to throw a year of being good right out the window – the charming star just needs his partner in crime. A flirtatious holiday ode written by Adkins, Monty Criswell and Derek George, “Naughty List” perfectly complements the charismatic crooner. Built around a smooth-talking invitation to forget the presents on Christmas morning, it tells the tale of a guy who’s ready and willing to get a lump of coal under the tree – if it means he and his love can unwrap a few “gifts” right now.

Meanwhile, a classic Country-swing sound sets the mood, produced in a warm-and-cozy fashion by Mickey Jack Cones and Derek George. Pairing Adkins’ hard-to-resist vocal rumble with a lighthearted combination of jingle bells, woodwinds, steel guitar, and more, it adds up to a soundtrack for some mistletoe mischief, and a love that’s hotter than a crackling log fire.

At the top of the year, Adkins will continue headlining shows from coast-to-coast while bringing his 2021 album THE WAY I WANNA GO to the stage. Featuring 25 tracks in honor of the 25th anniversary since his 1996 DREAMIN' OUT LOUD debut, the set was hailed as “a creative tour de force" by Billboard and featured household names like Blake SheltonLuke BryanMelissa EtheridgePitbullSnoop DoggStevie Wonder on harmonica, and more. Adkins will also hit the road with long-time friend Blake Shelton for the FRIENDS AND HEROES TOUR. For a full list of tour stops, visit here.
