The critically acclaimed act kicks off the tour in Lincoln, NE on March 6 and continues into 2025 with 10 jam-packed shows to follow. Southall will return to their early Red Dirt markets like Texas, Arkansas, and hit several different cities in their home state of Oklahoma throughout the spring. Tickets will go on-sale this Friday (12/6) at 10 a.m. local time on officialsouthall.com

“Come help us celebrate 10 years of the album that started it all, Six String Sorrow. As time passes, songs tend to fall between the cracks and it’s been awhile since we’ve played some of these tunes,” says lead singer Read Southall. “We’re bringing it back to the people and the places that helped make it all possible, we’d love to see y’all there.”

The Smoklahoma Records act first joined forces in 2015, playing dancehalls and bars all across the country. Six String Sorrow, originally a mostly acoustic solo project for Read Southall, led to the formation of what we now know as, Southall – the band. This record not only launched the band’s career but eventually led to nods from top-tier sources like Rolling Stone, saying they defy genres and “infuse rock and metal into the band’s coffee shop vibe.”

Formerly known as Read Southall Band, the GOLD-certified group (“Why”) has five albums behind them, boasts nearly 600 MILLION total streams, and has 1.2 MILLION cumulative monthly listeners. They spent the last few years building a rabid grassroots following on the road across the country, winning over crowds alongside Whiskey MyersJamey JohnsonBlackberry Smoke and Chase Rice, and on their headlining run as an epic breakout takes shape.

ABOUT SOUTHALL:
Founding member Read Southall hails from Oklahoma and is joined in the six-piece group by Reid Barber, Jeremee Knipp, Braxton Curliss, John Tyler Perry and Ryan Wellman. Southall's musical influences range from Country to Rock to Metal and more in between, making for a wholly original sound reminiscent of "being in the crowd at a young Merle Haggard show," according to The Anniston Star. The guitar-driven band never loses focus on meaningful lyrics, penning tunes that speak to every aspect of life and help drive a Rock and Roll experience for their audience, whether they're listening at home or at a packed show. The act throws gas on the fire beneath their fast-rising career with their most recent release, Southall – their raw and explosive self-titled album released via Smoklahoma Records. Southall's 2021’s For the Birds features the epic six-minute long single "Where We Belong" and “impressive standout” (Raised Rowdy) “Rose Gold” and follows their 2017 album Borrowed Time, which includes their RIAA GOLD-certified single "Why." Full of ‘70s Soul, Country-inspired lyricism and Rock and Roll heart, Southall’s music draws packed crowds and evokes old-school Country and early Grunge all at once. The band has tallied nearly 600 MILLION total streams and 1.2 MILLION cumulative monthly listeners. With more new music to come and a passion for the road, Southall is just getting started.
