Today (12/6), GRAMMY Award-winning artist Neil Perry (The Band Perry) releases smoldering new song “Easy Love.” This track of all-consuming ecstasy follows his acclaimed debut solo release “If You Can’t, Don’t.” Go here to listen now.
A continuation of his story, the singer/songwriter lets love take the driver’s seat as he heads into uncharted territory, whether that be in his relationships or in his upcoming project. Written exclusively by Perry, “Easy Love” allows fans an inside look into his real-life love story that he so eloquently captures through lyrics like: “She looks like a vision from a bygone dream / And by God nobody better wake me.” Recently having wed his longtime girlfriend, Sofia Sclafani, Perry is entering into a profoundly open and honest chapter of his life with his music reflecting just that. PEOPLE captured their intimate Wyoming ranch wedding where they celebrated with no distractions for miles and their phones on airplane mode.
“‘Easy Love’ is that song you sing with your partner-in-crime, your ride-or-die, the Bonnie to your Clyde,” says Perry. “Even simple life moments like driving with your special person are sweet and thrilling. This song is so reflective of where I’m at, and I know the fans will relate.”
Teaming up with 3X GRAMMY Award-winning producer Nathan Chapman yet again, this song further displays Perry’s unique sound and offers another glimpse of his sonic reinvention. As seen in Entertainment Focus, “Perry continues to push boundaries, blending heartfelt storytelling with a soundscape that’s uniquely his own.” As he looks toward his debut solo project coming in 2025, one thing is for certain, the decorated artist has a whole lot more left in his tank.
