Last night (1/15) in his hometown of Austin, TX, rising star Ty Myers celebrated the fast-approaching arrival of his phenomenally anticipated debut album The Select with a surprise release show at ACL Live at 3TEN. One of the most in-demand emerging performers on the scene, Myers is also announcing 19 new dates for his wildly awaited The Select Tour — a national headline run starting tonight (1/16) at the Haute Spot in Cedar Park, TX. With 22 dates already SOLD OUT (including stops at iconic venues like two nights at the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX, and New York City’s Bowery Ballroom), The Select Tour now spans 45 dates and continues through July 26 in Helotes, TX.

Named Apple Music’s Country Riser of the Month for January, Myers captivated last night’s jam-packed room with a scorching setlist of standouts from The Select. Thanks to an invite shared across his socials, the free event pulled in a massive crowd, with a line of fans wrapped around the building and the venue quickly reaching capacity ahead of a moderated Q&A about the making of The Select — hosted by Country Radio Hall of Famer & Texas Radio Hall of Famer Bob Pickett and including album producer Brandon Hood.

Over the course of the following set, Myers riled up the audience with mind-blowing renditions of previously released highlights from The Select, including his Billboard Hot 100 chart debut “Ends of the Earth” (featuring Hood hopping on electric guitar), as well as “Drunk Love,” “Can’t Hold Me Down,” “Worry is a Sickness,” and “Drinkin’ Alone,” plus his soul-stirring debut single, “Tie That Binds.” In a testament to his undeniable power as a singer, guitarist, and all-around performer, each song drew a deafening reaction as crowd members screamed along to nearly every word. ABOUT TY MYERS:
Born just outside of Austin, TX, RECORDS Nashville/Columbia breakout singer/songwriter Ty Myers grew up on a cattle ranch owned by his family for more than six generations.
