With poignant lyrics about the stop-you-in-your-tracks moments of a simple but meaningful life, he traces a path toward real appreciation – one which leads across true love, challenges, and the surprises you never saw coming. Also produced by Fox, a delicate piano melody helps convey the sense of awestruck sincerity, with Birge’s smoldering vocal dialed down to a tender croon. Meanwhile, inspiring steel guitar and orchestral undertones sweep across a soul feeding Country-Pop soundscape with a lump-in-your-throat reminder: “So buy the drink, steal the kiss, make the trip, take the risk, love hard as you can and just hold on / Cause life might be a lot of things / But it won’t be long.”
