RISING SINGER/SONGWRITER GEORGE PIPPEN DELIVERS A LOVE SONG FOR THE AGES ON SOULFUL NEW SINGLE “REST OF OUR LIFE”

Today, Indiana-bred singer/songwriter George Pippen returns with “Rest of Our Life” — a slow-burning love song built on his potent brand of Country-Rock. Out now via Virgin Music Group, the wildly romantic but down-to-earth track is the first of many singles due out this year from the Nashville-based rising talent. Go here to listen to “Rest of Our Life” now.

Written by George PippenRhys Rutherford, and Mike Robinson, “Rest of Our Life” is the first song from Pippen since the October release of his debut EP Magnolia Nights (a six-song project whose breakout single “Speedin’” landed on major playlists like Apple Music’s New in Country and Spotify’s All New Country). In a bright start to his next chapter, the captivating ballad finds Pippen dreaming of a beautiful future with the one he loves. After envisioning their wedding day, the 27-year-old artist brings his signature raspy vocals to a detailed portrait of his ideal life (“’Cause I’m painting pictures of us down the road / Off a highway that nobody knows / We’ll raise up some babies and pick some wildflowers / And we’ll watch each other grow old”). And in a brilliant counterpart to his wide-eyed daydreaming, “Rest of Our Life” perfectly captures the risk and courage required to speak what’s truly in your heart (“You might call me crazy / But I know I’ll hate me / If I don’t say what’s on my mind / Let’s turn tonight / To the rest of our life”).

"‘Rest of Our Life’ is about that moment when you just know—when love isn’t just a feeling, it’s a future,” Pippen explains. “I wanted this song to capture the leap, the trust, and the kind of love that turns one night into forever. This one’s straight from my heart, and I hope it finds its way into yours.”

Produced by Mike Robinson (a GRAMMY nominee whose credits include Katie Pruitt and The Band CAMINO), “Rest of Our Life” expands on the immaculately crafted but high-powered sound previously shown on songs like Pippen’s viral smash “Indiana Knows My Name.” To that end, “Rest of Our Life” opens on graceful acoustic strumming and hypnotic guitar tones, soon gaining an intense momentum as the song’s sturdy drums kick in. Woven with Pippen’s gently lilting melodies, the result is a gorgeously timeless track that fully matches the emotional power of Pippen’s storytelling.

A magnetic performer whose live experience includes opening for artists such Country superstar Megan Moroney and David Kushner, Pippen is now gearing up to take the stage at Extra Innings Festival on March 1 in Tempe, AZ. For his debut performance at the festival, he’ll join a lineup that includes Kacey Musgraves, The Lumineers, The Red Clay Strays, Megan Moroney and many more.

Hailing from an Indianapolis suburb called Carmel, Pippen got his start as a tour manager, traveling all over North America and Europe while working for a number of established artists. A lifelong music obsessive who names Tom Petty among his top influences, he eventually began singing at the encouragement of several friends in the music industry. After discovering his remarkable vocal talents and deep passion for songwriting, he made his debut with “Indiana Knows My Name” in spring 2024 and later released Magnolia Nights — an acclaimed EP also featuring standouts like “Silence in the Suburbs” (a heart-on-sleeve anthem celebrating the simple life). Stay tuned for more new music from Pippen soon.

ABOUT GEORGE PIPPEN:
When George Pippen made his debut in spring 2024, the Indiana-bred artist showcased the kind of self-assured and lived-in songwriting that comes from a lifetime of devotion to music. But despite the deeply evocative vocal and lyrical talents displayed on songs like “Speedin’” — a Country-Rock anthem featured on major playlists like Spotify’s All New Country, Apple Music’s New in Country, Amazon Music’s Brand New Music, and more — the Nashville-based 27-year-old had only recently discovered his undeniable musical gifts. Originally from the small city of Carmel, Pippen grew up on classic artists like Tom Petty and pursued his musical passion by working as a tour manager. After years of touring with an eclectic mix of esteemed acts, several friends in the industry encouraged him to create a song of his own — a turn of events that quickly unlocked his creative potential and inspired him to immerse himself in songwriting. Based in Nashville since early 2024, he soon signed with Snook Music Group via Virgin Music Group and delivered his debut EP Magnolia Nights: an October 2024 release that features “Speedin’” alongside soul-searching songs like “Indiana Knows My Name,” spotlighting the timeless musicality that’s earned praise from Whiskey Riff, Holler, and more. With his just released “Rest of Our Life,” fans can expect many more singles due out this year from the Nashville-based rising talent.
