Also today, the MULTI-PLATINUM-selling, eight-time JUNO-winning band announce the forthcoming release of the In Flight – Carry On EP — a project including acoustic versions of seven songs from their acclaimed album In Flight. Due out on May 16, the digital only EP will feature a specially curated selection of reimagined tracks from In Flight, including the introspective “Clearly Lost,” the first track from the EP which will be available digitally on Friday, February 28. Originally released in 2023, Barenaked Ladies’ 18th studio album is available digitally, on CD, and in a double-vinyl edition (both 180-gram white-colored and picture disc).

“We are back in the studio recording acoustic versions of some of our favorite songs from In Flight," shares Ed Robertson. "Hope you enjoy them as much as we’ve enjoyed recording them.”

Announced earlier this week, the Last Summer On Earth 2025 Tour launches on June 3 at Atlanta’s Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park and continues through August 2 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, MI. After Alt-Rock mainstays Guster join the bill from June 3 to 28, iconic hitmakers Sugar Ray will hop on the lineup from July 8 to August 2, plus Fastball on all shows.

This year’s Last Summer On Earth marks the eighth edition of the widely celebrated tour, founded by Barenaked Ladies in 2012 (the same year the Mayan calendar predicted as the end of the world). Hailed as an exhilarating live act by leading outlets like Billboard (“Barenaked Ladies’ energy was contagious and set the stage for what would be a high-energy evening of sing-alongs and throwback hits”), the two-time GRAMMY-nominated band unfailingly deliver a knockout show and stack their setlist with multigenerational mega-hits, including “One Week,” which skyrocketed to #1 in the U.S., Top 20 singles like “Pinch Me,” and “If I Had $1,000,000,” and arguably one of their best known songs, “Big Bang Theory Theme.” The TV show is one of the top scripted comedy shows of all time and is still streamed in over 70 countries worldwide, six years after its final episode aired.

ABOUT BARENAKED LADIES:
Over the course of 37 years, the beloved quartet has sold over 15 MILLION records worldwide and built up an arsenal of hits such as “If I Had $1,000,000,” “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” and “The Big Bang Theory Theme.” Widely acknowledged as one of the best live acts on the planet, BNL has hosted a cruise, had their own Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, and participated in the first-ever “space-to-earth musical collaboration” with astronaut Chris Hadfield. To date, BNL has amassed eight JUNO Awards, garnered two GRAMMY nominations, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. BNL’s 18th studio album, In Flight was released in 2023 and features 14 brand-new studio recordings. It’s available everywhere you stream music.

ABOUT GUSTER:
Throughout their three-decade-long career, Guster has landed a series of hits on the Billboard charts, worked with luminaries like Steve Lillywhite and Richard Swift, launched their own music festival, and amassed an ardent fanbase partly on the strength of their relentless touring and deeply communal live show. But despite reaching a milestone few musical acts ever come close to attaining, Guster’s latest LP Ooh La La reveals a band fully in touch with the voracious creative energy that first fueled their music back when they got their start playing in dorm rooms at Tufts University. A major leap forward for Guster, Ooh La La ultimately matches that wide-eyed spirit with a newly heightened sense of confidence and commitment to the raw sincerity that’s made them so beloved.

ABOUT SUGAR RAY:
Beyond sales of 10 MILLION records, four Top 10 songs, over a BILLION streams, and MILLIONS of tickets sold, Sugar Ray — co-founded by Mark McGrath (vocals) and Rodney Sheppard (lead guitar) — embody the endless summer of popular music and culture. How many artists still pack amphitheaters a whole generation removed from their genesis? How many acts can claim sharing the stage with The Rolling Stones, KISS, and Sex Pistols, collaborating with Run-DMC, and being interpolated by Post Malone? After 1994’s Lemonade & Brownies earned cult-classic status for its frenetic and unpredictable hybrid, the band returned with the double-platinum FLOORED in 1997 and soon became a household name thanks to its immortal lead single “Fly” (feat. Super Cat). With their catalog also including the triple-platinum 14:59, Sugar Ray dropped their seventh full-length, Little Yachty, in 2019, with NPR hailing the album’s “signature uplifting and airy rock sound.” No matter how much everything changes, we’ve got Sugar Ray forever.

ABOUT FASTBALL
Fastball is an Alternative Rock band, best known as the platinum-selling, GRAMMY-nominated trio from Austin, Texas. From their earliest hit songs, “The Way” and “Out of My Head,” through the years Fastball has continually honed its voice and sound, which has further evolved on its latest, critically acclaimed album, Sonic Ranch. Powered by the exuberant first single and video “Rather Be Me Than You,” following the album release, the band rolled out a music video for their newest single and album track, “Hummingbird.”  Fastball has toured extensively throughout 2024 performing before sell-out crowds of loyal fans who have supported the band for over 30 years, as well as an audience of new, young fans just discovering them.
