LOCASH READY TO BET THE FARM ON POWERHOUSE NEW ALBUM OUT APRIL 18

Gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable chapter, PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH will unveil their eagerly awaited fifth album, Bet The Farm, on April 18 via their own record label Galaxy Label Group in partnership with BMG. It notably marks their first full-length LP since 2019.

Bet The Farm stands out as their most personal, passionate, and poignant body of work to date. The duo comprised of Chris Lucas and Preston Brust thread messages of resilience, determination, belief, and positivity into the LP’s musical tapestry of arena-ready Country and classic songcraft uplifted by Pop ambition and Rock ‘n’ Roll grit.

This time around, Lucas and Brust both opted to open up more than ever before. Audiences initially fell in love with this unabashed honesty on the previously released scene-setting hit single and opener “Hometown Home.” The latter soars as an anthem about appreciating what you’ve got punctuated by a skyscraping guitar solo and the chantable chorus, “We can make this hometown home, keep our roots where they’ve also grown.” In its wake, the breezy “Buzzin’” cruises along on a head-nodding beat towards a love-drunk refrain, “Chasing whiskey with your kisses ‘cause I can’t get enough of this ‘Buzzin’.” Then, there’s “Things We Love.” Finger-snaps maintain the tempo, and the guys carry a celebratory hook, “We love our cold beer. We love our Fridays. We love the dirt roads that turn off them highways.” Elsewhere, “Get To Be That Guy” peppers a sunny bounce with a sweet chorus, “I don’t know how I get to be that guy that gets to love on you.” Their storytelling drives “Wrong Hearts,” painting a picture of life-changing love at first sight. Lightly plucked acoustic guitar underscores the delicate “When I’m Older” – already gaining traction on DSPs with hundreds of thousands of streams and making plenty of “New Music Friday” lists including Entertainment TonightHollerCountry Central, and more. It depicts the kind of eternal romance typically reserved for the big screen with its tender promise, “I want to hold her when I’m older.” Check out the full track listing below.

Heightening the anticipation for the release of Bet The Farm, LOCASH today premiere the heartwarming music video for “When I’m Older” across CMT. With the visual making its broadcast debut on CMT, CMT Music, and CMT Equal Play (on Pluto TV), online it appears on CMT’s official YouTube Channel, while CMT Spotify and Apple Music playlists have also highlighted the song.

LOCASH "When I'm Older"

When I’m Older” notably co-stars mega-popular influencer couples Maggie and Jaron Clayton (TikTokInstagram) and The Kelley Family (TikTokInstagram). The video depicts a series of tender moments between the real-life spouses intercut with performance footage of LOCASH shot outside under a bright gray sky. Maggie and Jaron joke and flirt as baristas behind the bar of a coffee shop as Jay and Gabrielle sip warm beverages, laugh, and lock eyes. The camera also focuses on an older couple still very much in the deep embrace of their romance. The clip embodies the sentiment of this bold ballad uplifted by eloquent instrumentation and heavenly vocal delivery.

Over the weekend, the two made their mark in the cult-favorite Savannah Bananas history books with the first ever Banana Ball halftime show at NFL Stadium. Performing together at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL, the crew brought their undeniable energy to a SOLD-OUT crowd of 65,000 fans. Check out the must-see clip here.

Next up, LOCASH will headline the 29th annual Key West Songwriters Festival Street Show on May 3 in Key West, FL. The show is free and starts at 7pm. See here for more details.

LOCASH is also feeling the love at Country radio, with their wildly popular single “Hometown Home” verging on No.1. A tribute to the pure magic of putting down roots in the place that raised you, “Hometown Home” marks the duo’s fourth trip into Country radio’s upper echelon – following the PLATINUM hit “I Love This Life,” and GOLD #1s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody” – and it’s still building momentum.

In January, LOCASH performed “Hometown Home” on ABC's Good Morning America, then debuted the fun-loving “Isn’t She Country” on GMA3: What You Need to Know – sharing a rural-Pop remake of the Stevie Wonder classic “Isn’t She Lovely” while giving fans another preview of the album.

ABOUT LOCASH:
A PLATINUM-selling duo who play by their own rulebook, LOCASH make feel-good Country music with a small-town spirit and big-time impact. Due out this spring, the brand-new album from singer/songwriters Preston Brust and Chris Lucas will feature fan favorites like “Isn’t She Country” and “Buzzin” alongside the just-released “When I’m Older,” adding to a hit-stacked catalog that already includes GOLD #1s “One Big Country Song” and “I Know Somebody,” eight chart-climbing singles, and over 1 BILLION global streams. In a bright start to the new year, the Nashville duo appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America in January and performed their Country radio single “Hometown Home,” a carefree anthem that marked the first release from their very own Galaxy Label Group and is currently verging to top the Country radio charts. Launched last year and distributed by BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, the one-of-a-kind record label allows Brust and Lucas to maintain complete creative control over their music while mentoring a whole new generation of like-minded stars. Since the arrival of their 2015 PLATINUM breakout “I Love This Life,” LOCASH’s bold and soulful brand of Country has garnered nominations from the genre’s biggest award shows and earned raves from the likes of American Songwriter (who praised the duo for “hitting homers and serving up first-class songs”).  After wrapping up a jam-packed 2024 — whose highlights included teaming up with Monster Jam to create their own limited-edition die-cast truck and playing stadiums all over the country as support for Kane Brown’s IN THE AIR TOUR — LOCASH are now gearing up for a nonstop year of in-demand headline shows and major festival appearances.
