CRAIG CAMPBELL LAUNCHES “HEAVEN: ACCORDING TO KIDS” VIDEO INSPIRED BY NEW SINGLE “OUTSKIRTS OF HEAVEN”

Inspired by his new single “Outskirts Of Heaven,” RED BOW Records’ artist Craig Campbell went straight to the most honest source he could think of for opinions on the matter: children. What he gets in return is uninhibited, imaginative and optimistic answers that can be seen in his new video: “Heaven: According To Kids.” Already praised by critics for its powerful vocals and traditional country sound and thanked by fans for “keepin’ it country,” the single is the 3rd Most Added (following Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood) at country radio nationwide today (4/11) with 40 first-week stations on board.

“Heaven: According to Kids” delicately shares children’s responses, ranging from traditional gold streets and pearly gates to being able to jump on clouds and do cannonballs in the sky. Immediately striking a chord, fans describe the video as “sweet and pure,” “heartwarming,” and “beautiful.”

“Outskirts Of Heaven” (written by Campbell with Dave Turnbull) has also received early, rave reviews from critics:

“The Georgia native certainly doesn’t hold back on his new single, ‘Outskirts of Heaven,’ a ballad with a sweeping, Nineties-style twang.”Rolling Stone Country

“Songs like Craig Campbell’s ‘Outskirts Of Heaven’ refocus a country genre that’s easily

distracted.” Taste of Country

“With powerful vocals and gospel inspired lyrics, Craig has himself one damn good country

song.”Whiskey Riff

“… recent barriers seem to have been broken down a bit and that will leave plenty of room for a song as solid as ‘Outskirts Of Heaven’ to slide into rotation as well.”One Stop Country

Following 2015’s “Tomorrow Tonight,” Campbell has been in the studio with producer Mickey Jack Cones working on his RED BOW Records debut album. Previously sharing the stage with Randy Houser, Alan Jackson, The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann and Justin Moore, he is currently touring across the U.S. and will be playing major fairs and festivals throughout the summer.

Campbell launched on to the country music scene with the release of his self-titled debut album (2011) delivering the hits “Family Man,” “Fish,” and “When I Get It.” To date, he has logged five consecutive charted hits with over a billion radio airplay audience impressions and over a half million downloads. Acclaimed as one of the genre's most neo-traditionalist singers, his Top 15 breakout debut “Family Man” was featured on HBO’s True Blood and fan-favorite “Fish” has tallied nearly 400,000 digital copies sold. Campbell earned his first Top 10 smash with the infectious “Keep Them Kisses Comin’” from his sophomore album NEVER REGRET (2013). The gifted songwriter co-wrote Garth Brooks "All American Kid" off of MAN AGAINST THE MACHINE. Prior to landing his first record deal, the Lyons, GA native spent time on the road playing keyboard for both Tracy Byrd and Luke Bryan - shows that inspired him nightly. He was soon discovered while playing a regular gig at the downtown Nashville honky-tonk, The Stage.
