HOME FREE DEBUTS “GOD BLESS THE USA” VIDEO IN CELEBRATION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY ON TAASTE OF COUNTRY TODAY (6/30)
On the heels of releasing the buzzed about cover of Justin Timberlake’s single, “Can’t Stop This Feeling,” Home Free brings their trademark sound and seamless genre crossovers to another level with their all-vocal take on Lee Greenwood’s treasured classic, “God Bless The USA” to celebrate Independence Day. The timeliness anthem premieres exclusively on Taste of Country today (6/30) and for Home Free is a dedication to our nation’s veterans.
"We feel very blessed to be able to make music for a living and we know it's only because we live in a country made great by the sacrifices of others. This is our tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces past and presently serving," Tim Foust told Taste of Country.
Produced, mixed and mastered by Darren Rust at Skyland Studios, the patriotic video was filmed at sunset in front of Mount Rushmore and concludes with a famous quote by Abraham Lincoln penned during the Civil War, “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as best he can, the same cause.”
Having recently wrapped up their 34-day, 26-show DON’T IT FEEL GOOD Spring Tour, the band will continue to play dates through the fall with a tour announcement coming soon. On September 29, they will support multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY Award-winning and Country Music Hall of Fame inductees Alabama at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City, MO.
