OLIVIA LANE CHEERED THE NEW YORK METS ON TO ANOTHER VICTORY SINGING “GOD BLESS AMERICA” SUNDAY (9/4)
Rising country newcomer Olivia Lane celebrated Labor Day weekend with a standout performance of “God Bless America” during the seventh inning-stretch of the New York Mets game on Sunday (9/4). Lane, along with a packed crowd at Citi Field, cheered the Mets on to another victory. Continuing her string of NYC appearances, the energetic singer/songwriter will play at the legendary venue Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ, joining the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana and Justin Timberlake who have previously taken the stage. The set will feature selections from her recently released self-titled debut EP, which Sounds Like Nashville praised, “The great thing about the career of Olivia Lane is that her live show is just as free-wheeling and energetic as this EP – and at the end of the day, both are going to go a long way towards determining her potential as an artist. From my ears, it’s very much through the roof!”
Lane is set to embark on numerous tour dates this fall across the U.S. and will continue to spread good vibes along the way with her #SunshineMovement on social media. The inspiring movement is to encourage others to spread joy and pay it forward. Watch as Lane brings the sunshine in Las Vegas giving out free hugs and hands out free cupcakes in Nashville.
Garnering media attention for her effervescent personality and powerhouse vocals, Lane has been selected for iTunes Country New Artist Spotlight, Entertainment Weekly “Breaking Big” artist, one of Rolling Stone Country’s "10 New Country Artists You Need To Know" and for CMT’s Listen Up Music Discovery Program. She recently made her national TV debut on Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.”
