Emmy-nominated online music series Skyville Live announces the star-studded lineup for the September 26 broadcast of their conceptually groundbreaking online music series, as three legends come together on one stage. Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, and special guest Buddy Miller will perform to raise awareness about this fall’s Lampedusa: Concerts for Refugees series, benefiting Jesuit Refugee Service. The bill for this extraordinary edition of Skyville Live will be rounded out by GRAMMY-nominated country duo Brothers Osborne, singer/songwriter Colter Wall, and a surprise guest to be named later, all coming together for what promises to be an absolute blockbuster of an evening.

A 13-time Grammy winner and Billboard Century Award recipient, Emmylou Harris’ contribution as a singer and songwriter spans 40 years. She has recorded more than 25 albums and has lent her talents to countless fellow artists’ recordings. In recognition of her remarkable career, Harris was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2008. Harris is known as much for her eloquently straightforward songwriting as for her incomparably expressive singing.  Admired through her career for her talent as an artist and song connoisseur, Harris shook up country radio in the 1970s, and established herself as the premiere songwriter of a generation selling more than 15 million records and garnering 13 Grammy Awards (this year she and Rodney Crowell won the Grammy for “Best Americana album"), three CMA Awards, and two Americana Awards. Harris is one of the most admired and influential women in music. Buddy Miller is an award winning guitarist, songwriter, singer, record and music   producer. He's produced records for Robert Plant, Patty Griffin, Emmylou Harris, Solomon Burke, Ralph Stanley, The McCrary Sisters, Richard Thompson, The Wood Brothers, Shawn Colvin, Steve Earle, The Devil Makes Three and The Carolina Chocolate Drops and others. Miller has released nine studio albums of his own, both as a solo artist and with collaborators including his wife, singer-songwriter Julie Miller. His most recent release titled Buddy Miller  & Friends: Cayamo Sessions at Sea is a collaborative effort featuring a host of guest artists including Kacey Musgraves, Kris Kristofferson, Brandi Carlile and Lucinda Williams and was recorded in a temporary studio set up in the bowling alley of a cruise ship. He has toured with the likes of Harris, Steve Earle, Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Plant and Allison Krauss. Brothers Osborne are two sons from a working class family. John and TJ Osborne grew up in a small, Maryland water town writing and playing songs for friends and family in their father’s shed. John (guitar) moved to Nashville first to play in other bands and two years later, TJ (vocals/guitar) joined him. It was then they formed Brothers Osborne as a twang and crunch duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years. The singer/songwriter siblings have been featured on several “Ones to Watch” lists including Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste, Country Weekly, Nashville Lifestyles and Spotify. In November 2015, Pope Francis reminded Jesuit Refugee Service that to give a child a seat at school is the finest gift you can give, and encouraged JRS to double the number of refugees educated to 240,00 by 2020.
