OLIVIA LANE’S DELUXE EDITION SELF-TITLED DEBUT EP AVAILABLE ACROSS DIGITAL RETAILERS TODAY (11/18)
Named “one of the fastest rising talents in the business,” (Sounds Like Nashville) and “Country’s Queen of Righteous Heartbreak Songs” (Taste of Country), newcomer Olivia Lane released the deluxe edition of her self-titled debut EP today at iTunes and all digital retailers.
The captivating nine-song project will include two new tracks – the mystifying “Ghosted” and Lane’s jubilant take on Brenda Lee’s beloved holiday classic, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” – as well as the music video for vibrant single “Make My Own Sunshine.” Produced by GRAMMY-nominated musician and 2015 Academy of Country Music’s (ACM) “Studio Recording Award” honoree Ilya Toshinskiy, the talented newcomer has writing credits on seven of the nine songs.
“The best feeling for me is sharing new music and I’m so excited to be able to release this version of the EP. I’ve met so many awesome new friends and fans out on the road, and I wanted to give them a little extra holiday sparkle. I hope they enjoy the new songs!” radiates Lane.
The Texas native is looking forward to good food, lots of wine and her “mama’s stuffing” during her first Thanksgiving in Nashville.
Elated by the fan response of the “She Fits” tour contest, Lane recently told The Boot she is gearing up to “connect one-on-one with fans and try out new music” for what is sure to be an “intimate gathering.” Fans can still enter to win a house party from the charismatic singer herself right in their own living room or backyard.
Known for her effervescent personality and powerhouse vocals, Lane has been selected for iTunes Country New Artist Spotlight, named an Entertainment Weekly “Breaking Big” artist, featured as one of Rolling Stone Country’s "10 New Country Artists You Need To Know" and spotlighted in CMT’s Listen Up Music Discovery Program. The fresh-faced newcomer has been immersed in the craft and tradition of Country music since she was a little girl, eager to follow in the footsteps of her mother who was a Country singer. In college at USC, she honed her calling studying music, songwriting and acting. Immediately upon graduation, Lane moved to Nashville to pursue her lifelong dream of a career in Country music.
