HOME FREE RECEIVES STANDING OVATION AFTER TEAMING UP WITH THE OAK RIDGE BOYS FOR ICONIC HIT “ELVIRA”

Columbia Records’ all-vocal country sensation HOME FREE teamed up with THE OAK RIDGE BOYS for a first ever ovation-worthy Home Free-Oak Ridge Boys surprise performance of the legendary group’s iconic hit “Elvira” Tuesday (4/11).

Playing back-to-back performances among a star-studded night that included Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and another surprise performer, Blake Shelton, it was the first time Home Free newcomer Adam Chance stepped onto the famed circle.

"I remember being a kid at home on Saturday nights with my family listening to the Opry broadcast on the radio down in lower Alabama,” Chance shares. “Standing onstage with Home Free, the Oaks, and so many other country legends is absolutely a dream come true. I can't wait for that next invitation back to the Opry!" Chance’s milestone marked his one-year anniversary of joining Home Free.

And the quintet’s excitement continued, as they were thrilled to meet Urban – after recently putting their harmony-rich, Motown spin on his critically acclaimed chart-topper “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Directed by Jimmy Bates, the stylish cover features smooth doo-wop-inspired moves created by long-time collaborator and choreographer Kristin Denehy and has quickly surpassed 1 million views within only a week of its release.

With over 145 million YouTube views under their belt, Home Free wants their devoted fans to “Think a Little Less” with their latest cover video, as they’re now taking on Michael Ray’s sexy #1 groove. Perfectly capturing Chance’s sultry vocals, the lively footage was shot during tour rehearsals at their typical Minneapolis-based haunts such as the Mall of America, SEA LIFE Minnesota Aquarium, and Elko-New Market’s Firehouse Grill.

Home Free is back on the road for their international tour through April 30, including stops in Québec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada. The 30-city trek will then be followed by music festivals in Austria, Netherlands, and Spain, with select summer dates added.
