RAELYNN TAKES THE RaVe TOUR TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH A SOLD OUT SHOW AT NASHVILLE’S MERCY LOUNGE LAST NIGHT (5/24)
Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville’s rising star RaeLynn took her popular RaVe Tour to the next level with a SOLD OUT headline show at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge last night (5/24).
Kicking the night off with a Radio Disney Country-curated playlist, the pumped up crowd of fans, friends, family and industry insiders was primed for RaeLynn’s energetic set which included songs from her No. 1 debut album, WILDHORSE, and an unreleased new track “Magic.” Highlights of the show included her impeccable rapping skills and when young members of the audience joined her onstage to sing GOLD-certified hit “God Made Girls.” She ended the special night by joining her fans for a RaVe-style dance party.
“Performing in Nashville can be a scary thing because the city is filled with such amazing music and artists. To find out the show sold out right before I took the stage meant the world to me,” shared RaeLynn. “My fans came to party and sing their hearts out. They knew every word to every song and danced with me ‘til the very end! My RaVe Tour shows have showed me how amazing my fanbase is and how much they love my debut album!”
Earlier in the week, RaeLynn made a special in-store appearance at Nashville’s Forever 21 in the Cool Springs Galleria, surprising fans with selfies and autographs. A few lucky shoppers even scored tickets to her Nashville show the following night.
Meanwhile the red-hot singer is up for BREAKTHROUGH VIDEO OF THE YEAR (“Love Triangle”) at the 2017 CMT Music Awards. Voting is now open at cmt.com/cmt-music-awards/vote. RaeLynn is also set to make several appearances during the 2017 CMA Music Festival with performances at Ascend Amphitheater, the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage and the HGTV Lodge.
About RaeLynn:
RaeLynn’s current single “Love Triangle” is the powerful first track from her Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville #1 debut WILDHORSE, produced by Jimmy Robbins and Nicolle Galyon. “Love Triangle” tells her personal story in a way that "is a raw and emotional account of what it’s like to be the child of divorced parents" (People Magazine), which media and fans have immediately gravitated to, evidenced by the single hitting Top 10 sales per spin while the music video has racked up 7 million views since release. The remainder of the 12-track album, 11 of which were co-written by RaeLynn herself, is a broader look into her life over the past few years since her breakthrough on NBC’s hit show, The Voice. Recently nominated for the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards fan-voted THE FRESHEST! - BEST NEW ARTIST COUNTRY and selected as a 2017 “Country Artist to Watch” by Pandora Radio, Napster and Billboard, RaeLynn has tallied 120 million plus cumulative career streams. She is poised to follow in the early success of her Top 10, GOLD-certified song “God Made Girls” that has racked up more than 940,000 track equivalent sales and has been streamed more than 50 million times. The track was nominated in 2016 for Radio Disney’s Favorite Country Song, earned her recognition as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and was the highest charting debut single by a solo female in 2014. The music video has accumulated more than 28 million views and earned her a pair of CMT Music Award nominations for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2015.
