KELSEA BALLERINI TO PREMIERE TRAGIC “LEGENDS” MUSIC VIDEO THURSDAY (6/29)
Continuing her climb as Country’s newest female superstar, Black River Entertainment artist Kelsea Ballerini releases the heart-swelling video for her brand new single, “Legends,” tomorrow (6/29).
Partnering with iHeartRadio, the stunning video will premiere across all iHeartCountry station sites, bringing Ballerini’s tale of “crazy, tragic, epic” love to life as a deeply moving short film. Directed by Jeff Venable, the clip unveils a couple’s entire romantic history – from the first stolen glances to its tear-jerking conclusion, with all their tender triumphs and surprises in between.
Singing boldly from the edge of a majestic, windswept ocean cliff in Big Sur, California, Ballerini captivates in a graceful, sophisticated gown, stepping into the unknown on the next leg of her own legendary journey and giving fans a sneak peek at her new look in the process.
A dramatic teaser of the full video can be viewed here.
“Legends” is the first taste of Ballerini’s highly anticipated second album, with more details about the project coming soon. Produced by Forest Glen Whitehead and Jason Massey, the track was co-written by Ballerini with Whitehead and Hillary Lindsey and is currently poised to make a strong debut on the Country radio charts.
It follows the unprecedented success of Ballerini’s debut album, THE FIRST TIME, which landed inside the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart and spawned three consecutive PLATINUM and GOLD #1 singles with “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Dibs,” and “Peter Pan” – marking the only time in Country history a female artist has hit #1 with her first three singles. Her fourth release from THE FIRST TIME – the fun and flirty GOLD-certified “Yeah Boy” – rose to the lofty height of #3 on the Country radio airplay charts.
The young star is currently opening shows in front of massive, early-arriving crowds on Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR, crisscrossing the country this summer and visiting new fans in the U.K., Ireland, and Europe in October.

About Kelsea Ballerini:
Named among "The 35 Most Anticipated Albums of 2017” by Entertainment Weekly, GRAMMY nominee Kelsea Ballerini has released her first heart-melting anthemic single “Legends” off her highly anticipated sophomore album. The Black River Entertainment artist skyrocketed to stardom after releasing three consecutive #1 smashes from her critically acclaimed debut album THE FIRST TIME – the PLATINUM-certified “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Peter Pan,” and GOLD-certified “Dibs” – making her the only female artist in country music history, including female duos and groups, to achieve this accolade. The talented singer-songwriter also reached GOLD with Top 5 hit “Yeah Boy,” after having written or co-written all 12 songs on her debut. Ballerini has appeared on the cover of Billboard Magazine’s GRAMMY preview issue, was included in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” class of 2017, and featured in People Magazine’s “Beauty at Every Age” list in their iconic World’s Most Beautiful issue for 2017. She's been named “The Country Sweetheart” in People’s elite “Ones to Watch” portfolio, praised by Rolling Stone as the “Nashville It Girl,” touted by Billboard as “Country’s Next Queen,” and selected as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country. After her 2016 headline THE FIRST TIME TOUR – which visited dozens of cities across the U.S. and included sold-out shows in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee; Minneapolis, Minnesota; New York City; Los Angeles; and more – Ballerini joined Thomas Rhett for his HOME TEAM TOUR and is currently on Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR. Awarded Billboard’s “Rising Star” honor at the prestigious 2015 Women in Music event, she has continued to gain recognition by scoring her first-ever ACM Award win for New Female Vocalist of the Year, iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Country Artist, multiple Radio Disney Music Awards, and the American Country Countdown Award (ACCA) for Breakthrough Female of the Year.
