Innovative Companies Behind Florida Georgia Line And Chris Lane Rebrand As BIG LOUD
After almost 15 years of success and growth in country music and beyond, the former companies of Big Loud Shirt Publishing, Big Loud Mountain Publishing and Management, and Big Loud Records are pleased to announce they are streamlining and rebranding under the new name BIG LOUD.
Founded by GRAMMY award-winning songwriter Craig Wiseman, all-star producer Joey Moi, artist manager Kevin “Chief” Zaruk, and visionary VP Seth England, the new BIG LOUD organization is an independent and innovative fusion of song publishing, artist development, management, production, promotion, and capital investment, all brought under one roof.
Leveraging the wide-ranging expertise of its four partners – and record label division President Clay Hunnicutt – the new and improved BIG LOUD will continue to redefine the role of a music industry firm, just as it has for artists like Florida Georgia Line and songwriters such as Rodney Clawson all along.
BIG LOUD’s publishing division was opened in 2003 by Wiseman, who gathered a celebrated stable of hit songwriters like Clawson, Chris Tompkins, Sarah Buxton, The Warren Brothers, and more. With more than 45 #1 hits to their credit, the roster now includes FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, Matt Dragstrem, and Jamie Moore, among others.
Founded in 2011, BIG LOUD’s management arm was the first collaboration between the four BIG LOUD partners, a paradigm-shifting venture that catapulted FGL from under-the-radar country duo to global superstars in less than two years. BIG LOUD now manages Chris Lane, Dallas Smith, Mat Kearney, Ernest K. and MacKenzie Porter, as well.
In 2015, the partners hired former radio executive Hunnicutt to lead their new record label division, and under his watch BIG LOUD experienced more success, sending its first single (Lane’s addictive GOLD-certified smash “Fix”) to the top of the charts. Lane has continued to make waves with his debut album GIRL PROBLEMS, and the label has brought on two more promising young talents – Morgan Wallen (whose debut single, “The Way I Talk,” is a Top 35 hit) and Jillian Jacqueline (whose bold songwriting has earned her opening slots on tour with Dwight Yoakam and Ryan Adams).
Today (8/1) also marks the founding of BIG LOUD’s new capital division, which seeks to support new innovation in the field of music technology to the benefit of both artists and fans alike. More details about BIG LOUD capital will be coming soon.
