TREE VIBEZ MUSIC BRANCHES OUT, ADDS HIT MAKER COREY CROWDER

TREE VIBEZ MUSIC is thrilled to welcome a new member to the family today (10/24), as the innovative music-publishing company – founded by superstar duo Florida Georgia Line in 2015 – signs one of country music’s hottest new songwriter/producers, COREY CROWDER.

Equally respected for his skill with a pen and leadership in the studio, Crowder brings the steady hand of an experienced chart-topper to the growing TVM team. Over the course of a still-accelerating career, he has two PLATINUM-certified #1 singles (Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” and “Think of You” featuring Cassadee Pope) to his credit, as well as a #1 album (Young’s I’M COMIN’ OVER) and a wealth of high-profile cuts.

“Corey is the complete package: a singer’s singer, a writer’s writer and a musician’s musician. He’s a perfect fit for Tree Vibez Music and on top of it all he’s a joy to be around,” says TVM General Manager Leslie DiPiero.

Raised in Loganville, Georgia, ASCAP writer Crowder may be best known for his ongoing musical brotherhood with Young – he also produced THIS MUST BE CHRISTMAS and LOSING SLEEP, the just-released album that includes seven more Crowder co-writes – but his long list of credits is just as diverse as his talent.

After arriving in Nashville in 2010, he has gone on to co-write a Top 20 single for A Thousand Horses – “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” – multiple Top 10 Canadian hits for Jess Moskaluke and Tim Hicks, and standout songs for emerging country artists and established superstars alike. Crowder’s songs have been recorded by Chris Janson, Justin Moore, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell, Michael Ray, Kenny Rogers, and more. Meanwhile, his work has appeared on hit TV shows like Nashville, One Tree Hill, The Biggest Loser, The Real World, and Gainesville, and he has produced projects for Cale Dodds, Seth Ennis, James Otto, Eric Paslay, and Jamie Lynn Spears, among others.

Says Crowder, “What many may not know is Tyler, BK and I go back long before any of us came to Nashville. So I am beyond excited to officially be a part of their family after all of these years!”

Crowder’s drive for lyrical excellence and willingness to explore new sonic horizons will fit perfectly on the TVM team, which was founded by FGL’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard with a mission to foster trailblazing creativity. The Nashville-based firm is not limited to any one genre, and its core values include individuality, hard work, and bringing the good vibes. Along with Crowder, the talented roster includes Jordan Schmidt (Jason Aldean’s “Lights Come On”), James McNair (Luke Combs’ “Beer Can” and “Out There”), Cameron Montgomery (Ryan Follese’s “Put a Label On It”), and Daniel Ross.

About Corey Crowder:

One of the elite songwriter/producers working in Nashville today, Corey Crowder is a multi-talented natural best known for his ongoing collaboration with country star Chris Young. Raised in Loganville, Georgia, Crowder began his career as an aspiring artist, but moved to Nashville in 2010 to focus his efforts on behind-the-scenes hit making. Since then, he’s earned a place at the top of the charts multiple times, including in 2015 with Young’s PLATINUM-certified three-week #1, “I’m Comin’ Over,” and again in 2016 with Young’s PLATINUM #1, “Think of You” (featuring Cassadee Pope). Also in 2015, Crowder scored his first #1 as a producer with Young’s GOLD-certified album, I’M COMIN’ OVER. The pair forged a musical brotherhood and have gone on to co-produce Young’s IT MUST BE CHRISTMAS and LOSING SLEEP, a project which includes seven more Crowder-penned tracks. As a songwriter, he has co-written a Top 20 single for A Thousand Horses – “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” – and Top 10 Canadian hits by Jess Moskaluke and Tim Hicks. His in-demand songs have been cut by Chris Janson, Justin Moore, Jon Pardi, Cole Swindell, Michael Ray, and others, while also earning placement on hit TV shows like Nashville, One Tree Hill, The Biggest Loser, The Real World, and Gainesville. Crowder’s production credits include work by Cale Dodds, Seth Ennis, James Otto, Eric Paslay, and Jamie Lynn Spears, among others, and he is an Academy of Country Music and Billboard Music Awards nominee.
