JILLIAN JACQUELINE HEADS TO PARK CITY TO PERFORM AT THE 2018 SUNDANCE ASCAP MUSIC CAFÉ AS PART OF THEIR CMA SONGWRITERS SERIES
JILLIAN JACQUELINE's breakout year is off to a whirlwind start with the rising Country songstress headed to the 2018 Sundance Film Festival this week, just as her debut single “Reasons” makes its mark at Country radio as the 2nd most added song with 30 stations on board. The Big Loud Records newcomer will perform as part of the special 2018 Sundance ASCAP Music Café CMA Songwriters Series lineup after making her acclaimed late-night television debut last week on NBC’sLate Night with Seth Meyers (1/15).
Set to showcase her “honest, no-holds-barred style of songwriting” (Rolling Stone) and “dreamy, traditional vocals” (AXS) for star-studded crowds in Park City, UT, Jacqueline will take the stage on Thursday (1/25) and Friday (1/26). She will perform alongside Nashville songwriters Steven Lee Olsen and Tenille Townes, as well as tour mate Jordan Davis whom she will join on the WHITE WINE AND WHISKEY TOUR beginning in February, for this exclusive show only open to Sundance attendees.
Her “sonically delightful and effervescent” (CMT) debut single “Reasons” hit Country radio yesterday (1/22), after rocketing into Spotify’s Viral 50 US chart and leading Jacqueline to 30 million plus streams on this platform alone. Co-written by Tofer Brown, Sarah Buxton and Jacqueline, “Reasons” is her first-hand account of navigating “relationship purgatory” (Refinery29). Finding some humor in falling out of love, thequirky tongue-in-cheek music video for “Reasons” was co-directed by Jacqueline and brings the lyrics to life with a vibrant vintage vibe. Much like the colorful clip, Jacqueline was bold and bright in her performance on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers, with media praising her “cool and confident” (Taste of Country) attitude while “belting out the empowering single” (One Country).
Selected as the inaugural Country artist for Vevo’s prestigious dscvr Artists To Watch initiative and highlighted on emerging artist lists by Pandora, CMT, Amazon Music and more, Jacqueline will showcase her talent internationally at London’s C2C Festival in March. Then, fans can catch her on the road this spring with Thomas Rhett for select dates on the LIFE CHANGES TOUR and Brett Eldredge’s THE LONG WAY TOUR.
