JILLIAN JACQUELINE MAKES KNOWN THE “REASONS” SHE’S COUNTRY’S NEXT STAR WITH GRAND OLE OPRY DEBUT
Showcasing her progressive Country sound on the genre’s storied stage, Big Loud Records' JILLIAN JACQUELINE made her long-awaited Grand Ole Opry debut last night (2/13). Stepping into the famous circle, the songstress performed her debut single “Reasons” followed by the critically-acclaimed “God Bless This Mess.” Both songs are featured on her current EP SIDE A.
The promising newcomer took the stage moments after Lorrie Morgan’s set, revealing the Opry member’s live show had been her first concert, making this a full circle moment.
"I’ve never been more emotional on a stage, ever,” said Jacqueline. "Standing in that circle was such a feeling of gratitude, pride, and happiness, and I am so thankful to the Opry for giving me such a highlight in my career."
Paying homage to her idol Patsy Cline, Jacqueline closed out her set with a show-stopping rendition of “Crazy” – her grandmother’s favorite song. Crediting the classic as the song that taught her to sing, she dedicated the performance to her grandmother as the attentive audience looked on. Adding to the night, Jacqueline was surrounded by family, friends and her team to celebrate the big moment. Fans also followed along on @Opry Instagram, getting to know the Country upstart as she prepared for her debut.
Divulging the reality of a relationship approaching its expiration date, “Reasons” – co-penned by Jacqueline, Tofer Brown and Sarah Buxton – is currently climbing the Country charts after Jacqueline’s piercing performance of the bold tell-all on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. With 30 million plus Spotify streams to her name, the rising star is proving why she is one to watch in 2018 as predicted by Vevo, Pandora, Amazon Music, CMT, Rolling Stone, Taste Of Country, Sounds Like Nashvilleand more.
Continuing to capture the hearts of fans, Jacqueline’s previously unreleased infectious anthem of self-love titled “Somebody” is now available exclusively on Amazon Music’s Original playlist “Love Me” just in time for Valentine’s Day. Now live on Vevo, the “Somebody” music video features Jacqueline on a whirlwind voyage through New York City in her signature style. Watch “Somebody” now on Vevo.
