KELSEA BALLERINI UNAPOLOGETICALLY MAKES SOLD-OUT HEADLINING DEBUT IN AUSTRALIA

Marking the only international stop on THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR, Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI made her headlining debut (3/20) in Australia at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, following a whirlwind trip around the world with her acclaimed sophomore album, UNAPOLOGETICALLY.

Jet-setting between C2C: Country to Country 2018 in London, United Kingdom (3/9), Glasgow, Scotland (3/10), and Dublin, Ireland (3/11), the Country music trailblazer hit #1 on UK’s iTunes Top Country Albums chart with UNAPOLOGETICALLY, as her new single, “I Hate Love Songs,” topped UK’s iTunes Top Country Songs chart. In addition, the cheeky ballad was added to BBC Radio 2's esteemed A List playlist.

With her husband Morgan Evans (Warner Music Nashville) by her side, Ballerini’s return to Australia brought to life the “love” chapter of her thematic journey of “loss, life, and love” in UNAPOLOGETICALLY. She introduced “I Hate Love Songs” live at the 2018 CMC Music Awards (3/15), just two years after meeting Evans while co-hosting the same Australian award show together.

Ballerini then jumped to CMC Rocks 2018 in Ipswich, Australia (3/17-18), before headlining Sydney’s Metro Theatre (3/20). The night was filled with “Every. Dang. Feeling.” (she later remarked on Twitter), as the sold-out crowd of 1200 sang along to every word of every song of her intimate 12-track sonic diary. Bringing her real-life love story full circle, she also sweetly brought Evans onstage before “I Hate Love Songs.” Penned by Ballerini alongside Shane McAnally and Trevor Rosen, the  “fun, tough-talking ode to keeping things real” (Rolling Stone Country) is now playing on Country radio.
