DYLAN SCOTT TAKES OVER GO COUNTRY 105 THIS JULY
Curb Records hitmaker DYLAN SCOTT is set to take over one of the largest Country radio markets in the nation this summer, joining Los Angeles’ GO COUNTRY 105 (KKGO) for a whole month of on-air fun.
Tapped as guest host for the station’s popular Midday show, Scott will be on hand to share personal stories, his unique perspective on Country music and much more, weekdays from 10 AM – 2 PM PSTbeginning MONDAY JULY 2 through FRIDAY JULY 27, 2018.
A lifelong Country radio listener, the “Hooked” and “My Girl” star says he can’t wait to be the voice on the other end of the dial, connecting directly with SoCal country fans who can also hear Scott each day at www.gocountry105.com and on the Go Country 105 mobile app.
"I am super pumped to be Go Country 105's Midday host for the month of July,” shared Scott. “That means I get to have my own radio show in Los Angeles. How incredible is that? There are so many Go Country listeners and I’m excited to get the chance to interact with all of you. I might even get some of my friends to join in so be sure to listen. Can't wait to talk to you guys!”
“We are thrilled to partner with such an amazing artist for the month of July,” says Go Country 105 Station Manager Michael Levine. “Dylan is a natural entertainer and we look forward to working with him on an exciting show.”
Currently riding a wave, which made him the second-most played new Country artist at radio in 2017, Scott’s new single “Hooked” – an irresistible jam of white-hot attraction – has garnered more than 44 million streams on Spotify and is now closing in on the Top 10 at Country radio. It’s the hotly-anticipated follow up to his first PLATINUM #1, “My Girl,” the romantic true-story anthem which became the seventh-most played song at Country radio last year.
After his self-titled debut album arrived in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart in 2016, Scott’s career is still gaining momentum as the rising star skyrockets past 400 million on-demand digital streams in total.
The Louisiana native recently wrapped up his time as supporting artist on Justin Moore’s HELL ON A HIGHWAY TOUR, and is currently headlining select dates nationwide with high-profile festival and fair appearances on the schedule this summer. His follow up, the infectious “Crazy Over Me,” debuted at #14 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart and hit the Top 40 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. In the summer of 2016, his debut album for Curb Records, DYLAN SCOTT, landed in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and its romantic standout RIAA PLATINUM-certified single, “My Girl,” became his FIRST CAREER #1 at Country radio. According to Nielsen Music Connect, fans have streamed Scott’s songs a staggering 400 million times and counting, and sales have topped 3.5 million stream equivalent songs – figures that continue to grow by leaps and bounds.
