MORGAN EVANS will be featured on this weekend’s episode of CMT Hot 20 Countdown, as host Katie Cook caught up with the rising Warner Music Nashville star in Austin, TX. During a stop on Evans’ 10 IN 10 TOUR, the Australia native showed Cook how to ride the waves at NLand Surf Park before bringing CMT along to the evening’s show at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q.
Evans’ 10 IN 10 TOUR consisted of back-to-back performances in 10 cities across the country in 10 days, with travel compliments of Southwest Airlines. Selling out his first-ever headline shows in Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA and New York, NY, the up-and-comer delivered unforgettable performances with his signature loop pedal and hooky melodies.
The singer-songwriter’s debut single “Kiss Somebody” is currently Top 5-and-climbing at Country radio after accumulating 45 million on-demand streams. Following his prime time performance on ABC’s hit romance reality series The Bachelorette, “Kiss Somebody” skyrocketed to Top 5 on the iTunes Top Country Songs chart and cracked the Top 10 on the all-genre Top Songs chart. “Kiss Somebody” will be featured on Evans’ forthcoming Warner Music Nashville / Warner Bros.
