CASH CAMPBELL GETS CAUGHT UP IN "THE IN BETWEEN" WITH NEW SONG OUT NOW
Country newcomer CASH CAMPBELL continues to draw fans in with his brand new song “The in Between,” available now on all digital platforms. Following the release of buzzed about tracks “Cannonball” and “Don’t Wanna Think About It,” this release further showcases the Texas natives' ability to blend genres. Penned by Campbell, Peer Astrom, Kevin Bean and Geoffrey Ashcraft, “The In Between” is an ethereal profession of forever love.
"I’m so excited for fans to hear 'The in Between.' It was inspired by the feeling that happens when you’re with a person so special, you feel like you’re on top of the world — between where heaven meets the stars," said Campbell. "I think the song captures perfectly the feel of never wanting to let go of that dream-like moment that you wish could last for an eternity."
Adding to the excitement, Campbell is currently on the verge of 20 million combined streams and views on his fresh content – including the vivid “Cannonball” music video and “Don’t Wanna Think About It” acoustic video featuring YouTube sensation Megan Nicole.
On Friday (8/3), Campbell took the stage at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, IL for his first headline show, performing fan-favorites, never-before-heard original songs and one-of-a-kind covers. He is set to open for Country star Chris Lane on September 7 in Marietta, OH with additional headline shows coming up in Bartonville, TX (8/25), Los Angeles, CA (9/26), Vienna, VA (10/10) and Houston, TX (10/20). ABOUT CASH CAMPBELL:
A “true representation of current country for the next generation” (CMT) newcomer Cash Campbell is bursting onto the music scene with “The In Between,” the follow-up to his debut song “Cannonball.” With his lush sonic palate – glittering, guttural and ethereal – it’s no wonder that fans around the globe are already captivated by Campbell as he continues to rack up MILLIONS of streams on multiple platforms. After growing up singing in a small-town Texas choir and spearheading several different rock-focused bands over the years, Campbell’s deep-running Lone Star roots began to show as his solo career took shape. Channeling those influences but looking to stand apart from the Country pack, Campbell teamed up with Peer Astrom (the Swedish composer partly responsible for Glee's soundtrack) and musician Chris LaCorte. Together they honed in on a sound that handpicks the best musical elements from each of their hometowns – down-to-Earth realism from Dallas, relatable songwriting from Nashville and irresistible electronic energy from Stockholm – fusing them into a mix that exists in a lane of its own. Out of the gate, CMT selected Campbell for their Artist Discovery initiative and world premiered the glowing, vibrant video for “Cannonball” in 2017. His Southern heart and worldly mind are fully evident on new tracks “Don’t Wanna Think About It,” “Little Things,” and “Gravity,” with each available now on all digital retailers.
